Korean BBQ in Jinhae, Changwon: frozen pork belly set at Smile Hoegwan

Smile Hoegwan (스마일회관) Main Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Seokdong, Jinhae-gu, Changwon, specializing in domestic flash-frozen pork belly. Two diners ordered the flash-frozen combo set for 2-3 people (48,000 won) and doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew, 6,000 won), tasting pork belly, flower pork belly, ogyeopsal (five-layer pork belly) and hangjeongsal (pork jowl), all grilled at the table by the owner, who even added kimchi to the grill. With no frozen-meat odor, a tender bite and a seafood-based doenjang jjigae, Smile Hoegwan is a retro old-school grill house worth the trip.
