Le Garden Bleu (르 가든 블루) is a Western restaurant on the first floor of KT&G Sejong Tower Building A, Sejong's "Nike building," in Eojin-dong, Sejong. The writer went with a friend in the daytime, when the wood-toned dining room fills with window light, and shared the salmon steak garden and a flat iron steak with truffle cream potato gnocchi. The salmon garden with hummus and the chewy truffle cream gnocchi stood out, making Le Garden Bleu a meal that delivered on both atmosphere and flavor.

Gasan eel restaurant with table-side grilling and self bar: Jangsuchon

Jangsuchon Pungcheon Jangeo (장수촌 풍천장어) is a grilled eel restaurant a short walk from Gasan Digital Complex Station Exit 2 in Geumcheon, Seoul. Two friends ordered 1kg of domestic salt-grilled eel, which staff grilled right at the table, while a self bar let them take as many extra wrap vegetables and side dishes as they wanted. Jangsuchon Pungcheon Jangeo is a good Gasan spot for a get-together or company dinner where you can enjoy eel and conversation without doing any grilling yourself.
