Gimgol Yeontanjip Bomun Station Branch is a charcoal-grill Korean BBQ restaurant one block behind Seongbuk Stream, right in front of exit 7 of Bomun Station in Seongbuk, Seoul. The writer ordered juljuli teukmoksal (pork neck strips, 150g) for 15,900 won, seolhwa kkodeulsal and gochujang charcoal bulgogi, plus flat bibim noodles (cold spicy noodles) for 6,900 won, with all-you-can-take aged kimchi, spring onion kimchi and shredded scallions from the self-serve bar. Between the patented charcoal briquettes, the basil ssamjang and the plum slushie at the end, Gimgol Yeontanjip makes the reason for a repeat visit obvious.
