Weekend lunch kamabutter udon at Kosi, a Konkuk Univ. udon shop

Kosi Konkuk University Branch is an udon restaurant with house-made noodles in Gwangjin, Seoul, right across from Common Ground near Konkuk University Station. Two people visiting for weekend lunch ordered tori-ten bukkake udon at 11,000 won and kamabutter udon at 11,500 won, then added a tempura set and mozzarella croquettes for a total of 32,500 won. The chilled bukkake poured with tsuyu and the hot kamabutter mixed with yolk and butter made a good pair, but the mozzarella croquette dipped in honey sauce was the dish worth coming back for.

Guui Station Korean BBQ four-cut half-set with pork skin: Ssamchae

Ssamchae Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal is an iron-lid Korean BBQ restaurant on the first floor of the Jayang Haneulchae Ver complex in Jayang-dong, near Guui Station in Gwangjin, Seoul. On a Sunday evening the iron-lid half-set cost 57,000 won and came with pork belly, pork neck, pork jowl and pork skin, and a bowl of rice brought the bill to 58,000 won, with wrap greens refilled freely at the self-serve bar. Staff grilled everything at the table, so all four cuts were easy to taste one after another.
