I finally went to Orange Bagel (오렌지베이글), a bakery café in Suwon I'd had my eye on for a while (੭˙ ˘ ˙)੭
Orange Bagel hours and parking in Suwon
Orange Bagel is open daily 07:30–21:00, with last order at 20:30. It's 979 m from Exit 2 of Gosaek Station, and there's a large parking lot in front of the shop 🚗

The standalone building has a big lot in front, so it's easy to visit by car.
Red brick exterior and an American-style photo spot
Orange Bagel is a standalone red-brick building, so it stands out even from far away.

There seem to be a lot of big bakeries in this neighborhood, right? Even so, that red brick exterior is the one that stands out!

There's also a photo spot full of American vibes ෆ

Inside Orange Bagel: goods on 1F, hall on 2F, rooftop on 3F
As soon as you step through the entrance, you see the counter and the bakery display right away!

There's a seating hall on the left.

On the right they sell merch. There was so much to look at that I totally lost my head, hahaha

The 2nd-floor hall is very big! It keeps a unified Brooklyn feel, yet every area has its own mood, so I had a hard time deciding where to sit, haha.
Go up to the 3rd floor and you reach the rooftop. I visited when it was hot, but I bet it feels like being on a trip in spring or fall. So nice!

Even the sign has a vibe... it felt like I'd suddenly teleported to America 🇺🇸🧡 Now that I've toured the shop, let me show you the drinks and bakery menu!
Orange Bagel drink menu: signature orange coffees
The signature coffees at Orange Bagel are the Orangecano, Orange Breeze, Orange Latte and Orange Bianco. Besides those, there are coffees, beverages, teas and even soup.

They say a whole orange goes into each signature orange coffee 🍊

You can also smell the teas before choosing.

How many kinds of bagels does Orange Bagel have?
The display at Orange Bagel has chocolate butter rice cake, red bean butter (angbutter),

double cream, deep choco, Laugen butter, garlic, crab and shrimp, orange, bacon egg mayo,

They say the orange bagel has no water in it, just 100% orange juice!
Everything, rye, scallion cream bacon, pepperoni, basil, garlic, rice crack sio (ssal crack sio), olive tomato, corn, bagel chips, orange, potato, blueberry, Caprese tomato, mocha bun,

cranberry and plain: an enormous variety of bagels is laid out looking delicious. There are also bottled drinks, cream cheeses and sandwiches.
You'll spot the cute dachshund mascot here and there 🖤 The pickup area has tableware and napkins, and there's an oven for heating up your food.

What we ordered and the prices
- Orange Bagel ₩4,900
- Deep Choco Bagel ₩6,300
- Ssal Crack Sio Bagel ₩6,300
- Americano ₩5,500
- Orange Breeze ₩7,500
There were so many tasty-looking bagels that I could barely choose after a lot of agonizing, haha. We also ordered a cold Americano and the signature coffee, Orange Breeze!

How does the Americano taste?
True to a bakery café's coffee, the Orange Bagel Americano had no acidity and tasted nutty and clean.

What kind of coffee is Orange Breeze?
The Orange Breeze I picked is orange juice and espresso topped with cream. The cream on top is sweet and soft, and the combination of coffee and orange juice has a strangely appealing charm!

The signature Orange Bagel
The signature Orange Bagel! I'd never seen anything like it, so I was curious and picked it. Take a bite and the aroma hits you first thanks to the orange zest, and the orange flavor that gently rises as you chew was so appealing!

A Deep Choco bagel instead of a chocolate baguette
Chocolate baguettes are trending these days too, right? Haha. Baguettes can be hard and hurt the roof of my mouth sometimes, but eating the chewy bagel version, I personally liked it even more! The Deep Choco Bagel is packed with chocolate filling inside, so it was perfect for a sugar recharge b
The Ssal Crack Sio bagel my boyfriend and I picked at the same time
And the Ssal Crack Sio, which my boyfriend and I picked at exactly the same time! The top is crispy like nurungji (scorched rice), and it's a salt-bread-style bagel. The butter aroma was good, and it was mild and delicious.

Is Orange Bagel in Suwon worth a visit?
Let me finish with a photo of Kevin, the mascot and head chef, haha. Orange Bagel was the most impressive big bakery café I've visited recently. The interior is gorgeous, and you can tell they put a lot of care into the drinks and bagels, so I was busy taking photos!
- Large bakery café
- Brooklyn-concept interior
- Orange bagel & orange coffee
I recommend Orange Bagel, the bakery café in Suwon 👍
