Weekday lunch set for two at Bunnys, a Cheongju Seongan-gil diner

Hi everyone >_< today I'm bringing you a Cheongju Seongan-gil spot I visit at least once every two weeks. Mushroom cream pasta and jumbo pork cutlet are must-orders, but today I tried Bunnys' weekday lunch SET for two haha. A rich, creamy pasta plus a huge pork cutlet... and lately they serve tteokbokki instead of soup, which I'm completely into lol.

Bunnys hours, waiting time and reservations

Bunnys Restaurant is open daily 11:00–21:00, with a break time from 15:00 to 17:00, and last order at 14:30 and 20:30. We snagged the last table today. Last week the wait was so long ㅠ0ㅠ so today I made a reservation and rushed over!!

We got a table for two ~~ I was thinking of ordering pasta and pork cutlet like always, but they had a lunch set so I went for it hehe. Let's take a look at the menu, shall we??

What comes in the 33,900-won weekday lunch set for two

Today we ordered Bunnys' Weekday Lunch SET for two, ₩33,900, made up of 1 main + Monte Cristo H + Cajun chicken salad ㅇㅅㅇ/ For the main, we picked the Toowoomba jumbo pork cutlet.

Self-serve bar: soup replaced by tteokbokki

A Cheongju Seongan-gil lunch special, yay hahaha. Bunnys is always delicious and popular as ever. There used to be soup at the self-serve bar, but it's been swapped for tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). I thought that was just a one-time thing, but it's still tteokbokki today, and honestly, even better ♥

I brought over a bowl of tteokbokki. This was my first time ordering the lunch set, so I was kind of nervous — I'd had a stressful day and really needed this meal.

A Seongan-gil lunch spot!! The tteokbokki was cooked soft and totally delicious, and the seasoning tasted almost like Sinjeon's — I was so surprised. Everything came out fast too, which I loved. This is the Bunnys Weekday Lunch SET for two!!

Since it's an American-style restaurant, of course they have Monte Cristo lol. Who cares, right?

Anyway, from the visuals to the taste, it was amazing. And then the Cajun chicken salad, packed with Cajun flavor.

And then the delicious Toowoomba jumbo pork cutlet on top of it all!! Such a happy spread. A Seongan-gil lunch spot!!

How do the Toowoomba jumbo pork cutlet and Monte Cristo H taste?

Let's dig in first haha. The Toowoomba sauce went really well with the pork cutlet. Bunnys' jumbo cutlet is delicious, the Toowoomba is delicious — honestly every kind of pork cutlet here is good. It might just be the other twin peak alongside the mushroom cream pasta.

And the Monte Cristo >_< it's tasty just as it is, but dipping it in the berry jam that comes with it made it even more refreshing and delicious. Hehe, and right when things started feeling rich, a quick bite of tteokbokki hits just right lol.

Eating the salad alongside made everything go down smoothly. Nothing here misses — that's why this place is so popular, everyone.

Is the Bunnys weekday lunch set good value?

At lunchtime, this Seongan-gil spot always has a wait. It was my first time trying the lunch set, and the composition is solid and the value is great — I think this is a must-order for anyone visiting on a weekday lol. Though honestly, everything on the menu is good, so ordering à la carte works too.

Is Bunnys good for a date or for dining with kids?

Coming for a date on Seongan-gil? Then Bunnys is the place. Plenty of families with kids come here too. The flavors are crowd-pleasers that kids love, which honestly means the adults love it even more haha.
