Custom running socks for 5 km comfort: Oneable Sports Socks

I received Oneable Custom Sports Socks and had them made with a design I wanted. I wore the socks featuring Doraemon and ran about 5 km along Anyangcheon to see how they felt.

On a windy Sunday afternoon with fine dust in the air, I put on a mask and went out for a run. There was something fun about running in socks with a design I had picked myself.

As I kept running, I came to feel that sock comfort matters as much as shoes. Since socks wrap directly around your feet, cushioning and breathability change how comfortable exercise feels.

How did I order socks with my chosen design?

The Oneable custom socks I used this time are Korean-made non-slip sports socks. Unlike the running socks I already had, what caught my eye was that I could add the design I wanted myself.

You can choose the design and specifications for production, and they can also be ordered as team-uniform socks for football, running, or badminton clubs.

I requested a design with Doraemon through Naver Smart Store TalkTalk. They showed me a mock-up made to match my request, and once I checked and approved it, the socks were made and shipped as shown.

For my order, the production process was simple, and the delivery felt quick too.

How were the finished design and cuff band?

When they arrived, the pattern I had requested was printed clearly. I liked the design because the character I chose was right there on the socks.

The finishing was neat, and the cuff band felt secure without squeezing too tightly. They were comfortable even when worn for running.

Did they slip down or feel restrictive over about 5 km?

I put on the Doraemon custom socks that had been delivered and headed to Anyangcheon. From the first wear, they felt soft and secure.

They wrapped naturally around the top of my feet, and the sole cushioning felt like it softened the impact from the ground. Over about 5 km of running, the socks did not twist or slip down.

Even when I began to sweat while running, they felt less stuffy. I was satisfied that the damp feeling did not linger long after I finished exercising.

While stretching midway through, someone exercising beside me said the socks were cute. I enjoyed not only the comfort but also the design.

How could they be used as club or team socks?

After using them personally, I thought they would also work well as club or team socks. A football team could add its team colors and emblem, while a badminton group or running crew could use a design chosen together for a more unified look. Since they can be made in a range of sizes, I also felt they could work as uniform socks for mixed-gender teams.

What I liked in this trial was being able to add the design I wanted, along with the neat finishing, cushioning, and secure fit I felt while running.

What fun did the custom design add to running?

That afternoon at Anyangcheon, I could see people wrapping up a running event. It was a familiar place to run, but wearing character socks I had chosen myself made exercise feel a little different.

Lately, I had not been running at Anyangcheon much because I had been doing Stairway to Heaven workouts at the gym. After this run, I wanted to come back out and run more often again.

It was nice to feel as though I were running alongside Doraemon. I liked the material and comfort on this run, and since you can make them with the design you want, they seemed worth considering as a gift too.
