In short
Fluffy Bake Shop is a baked-goods dessert café near Exit 2 of Gongdeok Station in Mapo, Seoul, that bakes its madeleines, financiers and canelés in-store with AOP-grade Lescure butter. On a late visit, the writer took home a chocolate canelé, chestnut and carrot madeleines and 4 financiers, each individually wrapped and priced ₩3,200–₩3,800, and was struck by their soft texture and cute looks. With dedicated 4-piece and 6-piece boxes, Fluffy Bake Shop is an especially good fit for anyone shopping for baked treats as a gift.

Today I'm introducing Fluffy Bake Shop, a dessert café near Gongdeok Station that's famous for its baked goods! It has a cozy, comfortable vibe and loads of cute, tasty desserts, and they say everything is made with AOP-grade Rescure butter. The quality is high, so I'd recommend it for wrapping up as a dessert gift too, haha.
Fluffy Bake Shop location, hours and parking
Fluffy Bake Shop is at 8 Baekbeom-ro 31-gil, Building 2, Shop 106 (1st floor), Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It's open 08:00–18:30 on weekdays and 11:00–16:30 on weekends.

Come out of Gongdeok Station Exit 2, go right and keep walking, then turn the corner. On the ground floor of the building on your left you'll see a white storefront with a madeleine sign, and that's Fluffy Bake Shop. It's only a 1–2 minute walk from the station, so access is great, and with lots of schools and apartments nearby it's a perfect spot for locals to drop in, haha.
✔️ If you come by car, I hear you can park free for 1 hour at the Gongdeok SK Leaders View Complex 2 parking lot~

Seating and atmosphere
There are seats inside the shop, but also outdoor tables outside. You can enjoy coffee and dessert in the cool breeze, so I especially recommend them on a nice day or when you're out with a pet, haha.

The indoor seating is tucked cozily to the left of the entrance, with bar tables facing the wall and the window, so solo visitors can come in comfortably. The interior is clean white with bright wood-tone accents, so the whole place feels bright and warm.

Drinks menu, takeout discount and review event
The menu board has coffee, non-coffee lattes, ades and teas. ✔️ Coffee drinks get ₩1,000 off when you order takeout, so that's worth knowing if you're taking your order to go~

If you join the receipt review event, you get a tasty vanilla canelé (or a financier if they've run out) once per review, so be sure to join and pick it up! Haha.

Gift boxes: how many pieces do they hold?
Fluffy Bake Shop has dedicated 4-piece and 6-piece boxes. The desserts are so well known that lots of people pack them up as gifts, and the pretty boxes make them even better for giving ☺️ (Personally, I found the 6-piece box cute and really liked it.)

Types of baked goods at Fluffy Bake Shop
They say Fluffy Bake Shop makes its desserts with Rescure Charentes-Poitou AOP butter. Maybe that's why the quality tastes different from other places, and since everything is made in the shop, you can really taste the care.

I visited a bit late, so there weren't many desserts or much variety left, but luckily most of what I wanted to eat was still there, haha.

There are 3 kinds of canelé (caramelized custard cakes), 16 kinds of madeleine and 9 kinds of financier (almond butter cakes), so the choice of baked goods is huge, and they also had other desserts like salt bread and egg tarts. If you like bakeries, please visit and try one of each, haha.

Individual wrapping and how to store each dessert
There were so many kinds, but I thought hard and packed up the ones I liked best 😆

Fluffy Bake Shop wrapped every dessert I ordered individually, one by one. Madeleines, financiers and canelés each need to be stored differently, and detailed instructions are posted inside the shop, so just store each dessert the right way~~

What I ordered and prices
- Chocolate canelé ₩3,600
- Chestnut madeleine ₩3,800
- Carrot madeleine ₩3,600
- Chocolate financier ₩3,400
- Vanilla financier ₩3,200
- Nunetinne financier ₩3,800
- Almond financier ₩3,800

Chestnut and carrot madeleines and chocolate canelé: how did they taste?
Maybe because of the high-quality butter, the baked goods at Fluffy Bake Shop were wonderfully soft and delicious. The madeleines in particular, shaped like a carrot or a chestnut, were so cute that I almost hated to eat them. The canelé was also the best canelé I can remember having, haha.
Eating them the same day is the best, but if you follow the storage instructions, they keep nearly as well as same-day ones, which is great!

With so many kinds of tasty baked goods, Fluffy Bake Shop is a Gongdeok Station dessert café I especially recommend for gifts 👍
