What is Picnic List Mangwon?

Picnic List Mangwon is a rental shop that lends out picnic gear like mats, tents and tables for Mangwon Han River Park. From the basics, such as a picnic mat, table and shade tent, to mood items like bouquets, wine glasses and cutting boards, it has everything. I'd call it the "aesthetic picnic dollar store" 😆😆

The weather has turned cool, so it's perfect for a Han River outing~! Going empty-handed is a bit sad, but lugging all your stuff means you're already exhausted before you arrive... That's exactly when you need Picnic List Mangwon, so I really recommend it for your next outing haha. It's open every day from 00:00 to 24:00, so 24 hours.

Where is Picnic List Mangwon and how do you book?

Get off at Mangwon Station or Mapo-gu Office Station and walk past Mangwon Market. The shop is in front of Mapo-gu Citizens' Sports Center, right before the entrance to Mangwon Han River Park. It's a handy stop for neighborhood locals and anyone visiting Mangwon-dong or the park haha.

Rental times and set options at Picnic List Mangwon

The standard rental time at Picnic List Mangwon is 3 hours, and the all-day pass is ₩10,000 for 6 hours, so we chose the all-day pass. Since it runs 24 hours, you can borrow at the time you want and return whenever suits you, which was great.

Sets come as Basic Set, Combo Set and Mix & Match, and you can also pick individual items and combine them with a set~!

Rattan baskets, hats and picnic mat colors

Picnic List Mangwon also has rattan baskets and hats for picnic vibes, and you can choose the size and color of your picnic mat.

Board games, tripods and ball games for rent

I was determined to play a board game, but when I got there I found far more choices than I expected, so picking one took some thought. They only seem to stock fun ones haha.

You can also rent a tripod for taking photos, automatic bubbles, and badminton, soccer balls and basketballs that suit the Han River Park.

Event props for proposals and birthday parties

Picnic List Mangwon also sells event props. For a proposal, birthday party or bridal shower, you can set a lovely mood with a picnic by the Han River. Recommended 👍👍

Where and until when can you pitch a shade tent at Mangwon Han River Park?

Mangwon Han River Park has designated zones where shade tents are allowed. Picnic List Mangwon has an easy-to-read map of the permitted zones drawn from the shop's location, so have a look haha.

Booked on Naver, loaded the wagon and set off

Since I'd booked on Naver in advance, the owner packed the basic set for us, and I added more things I liked from the shop! I reserved the Combo Set, which includes a wagon, so getting around was easy haha.

The weather was gorgeous that day, which put me in a great mood, and since we'd come all the way to the Han River Park, we hunted for a spot with a river view and finally spread out the mat. You can see the bridge and the river, and the Han River bus passes by, so there was plenty to look at. Great spot haha.

We rented a tent for shade. It's a one-touch tent, so you just throw it and it pops into shape, which was so convenient.

Playing Halli Galli: why we needed a fan on a cool autumn day

I wondered if we'd need a fan in such cool weather, but it came with the Basic Set so I took it along. Then we played Halli Galli (a card-slapping board game) so passionately that the fan turned out super useful. The Bluetooth speaker is tiny, but the sound is decent and it adds picnic vibes haha.

It had been a while since I'd been to Mangwon Han River Park, and it was my first time going with a full loadout of gear like this. After renting from Picnic List Mangwon, I thought, "Hey, this is actually doable??" and decided to use it again next time haha.

Of course we had to have Han River ramyeon (instant noodles cooked at the park)~~ And the convenience store sells Moscato wine in a cup?? It's just right for the mood, and I think it makes a great set with ramyeon haha.

We set the outing mood with the rented bubbles~~ and took so many photos and videos with the borrowed tripod haha.

How do you return items at Picnic List Mangwon?

Picnic List Mangwon is open 24 hours even when the owner isn't there, so you just put the rented items inside the shop and scan the return QR code, and the return is done. So easy!

When evening came, Mangwon Han River Park showed another pretty side ☺️ It was hard to leave, but promising to come back, we loaded the rental items into the wagon and returned them haha.
