Bueokgan Haeundae Branch on Dalmaji-gil: a weekday lunch for two with mom
I wanted some cozy time with my mom, so I went to "Bueokgan Haeundae Branch," a Western restaurant in Haeundae. There's basement parking in the building, but it can be a little tricky if you're a new driver.
Since it was a weekday lunch, the place wasn't packed, but there were couples and families out with kids for a meal.
The place is clean and pleasant, so it seemed like a fine spot for a blind date too.
I'd been here with my dad before for pizza, and that memory was so good that this time I brought my mom.

As expected, Bueokgan Haeundae is Instagram-worthy — every seat looks lovely.
The way sunlight pours through the big windows onto the tables is really nice.
There's a baby chair, so it's good for those coming with children. When we visited, there were families with babies too.

Truffle mushroom cream gnocchi: light enough even if you avoid cream
The truffle mushroom cream gnocchi was loaded with mushrooms, with chewy gnocchi throughout — honestly heavenly.
I'm not usually into heavy cream sauces, but this one wasn't just rich cream — the nutty flavor of the mushrooms came through, so it was a cream taste even I could like.
The combo of chewy gnocchi and light mushrooms was so good!
Truffle mushroom pizza: no meat, all aroma
The truffle mushroom pizza showed up next. The truffle scent was so strong and fragrant.
It was so tasty even without any meat on it. Last time I came with my dad we also had this truffle mushroom pizza, and it was so good that I ordered it again this time with my mom.
