Long time no see, everyone..🥹 It's festival season and I've been swamped lately ㅠㅠ Can I actually become a planning queen? Still, no matter how busy I get, I never skip my weekly date with my dad🫶🏻

Today my dad and I went to Raymond Isu Branch, a pizza place near Isu Station. I'd walked past it a bunch of times back when it used to be the pork cutlet place from Tzuyang's videos, and this time I got a good chance to visit! The pizza turned out better than expected and even the sides were solid — I left satisfied.

Raymond Isu Branch is about a 3-minute walk from Exit 9 of Isu Station. Being so close to the station makes it easy to get to, and it's a great spot if you're near Isu Station or Sadang-dong looking for pizza.

Doesn't the exterior scream American vibes🇺🇸🍕 The interior of Raymond Isu Branch was also decorated to feel like an American restaurant. What struck me most was how varied the crowd was — not skewed toward one age group at all! From young people to families with kids, all ages were there!! Group seating and venue rental are both available too, so it looked like a good spot to visit with a bunch of people.

Raymond has a wide range — American-style pizzas, chicken, side dishes, and draft beer too. Since we wanted to taste a little of everything, we went with the set menu. You order through the tablet installed at each table.

How big is the Mond Set for two people?

That day we ordered the Mond Set, a Pilsner lager, and a zero-sugar cola. The Mond Set was labeled as serving 2–4 people, so I confidently thought 'starts from 2, we've got this!' and ordered it with my dad.

Everyone… it's seriously a lot of food😂 We couldn't finish it and ended up packing the leftovers to take home. The Mond Set seems especially great when a group of people wants to visit and share a variety of flavors.

The Mond Set doesn't come with just one pizza flavor — you get slices of cheese / Hawaiian / pepperoni / mac and cheese, so you can taste several kinds. Since I love trying a bunch of flavors, this was exactly my kind of set!

My favorite among them was... 🍍 the Hawaiian pizza! It's genuinely delicious. My top pick, hands down☝🏻💛 The salty pizza with the sweetness of pineapple kept me reaching for more. If you usually like Hawaiian pizza, you have to try this one!

Mond Set truffle fries

The truffle fries in the Mond Set were tasty too. It's not truffle in name only — the truffle aroma came through pretty strongly, and the fries themselves were nice and crispy! Great for grabbing one every so often between pizza bites.

Mond Set boneless fried chicken

And the boneless fried chicken surprised me by being better than expected! Crispy outside, juicy inside, with a hint of smoky flavor as you eat more. Being able to have pizza, fries, and chicken all at once made it a really solid spread for a group beer night too.

Is Raymond Isu Branch a good beer spot too?

Apparently Raymond is famous not just for pizza but for its craft beer! It's even won awards at international competitions, which made me even more curious. Unfortunately I had to drive that day, so I couldn't have any beer🥲

My dad ordered a lager instead and drank it🍺 Pizza, chicken, truffle fries, and cold beer on top of that... I get now why people come here for pizza and beer. Note to self: don't drive next time. I'm definitely coming back without the car so I can have beer too!

My first time at Raymond Isu Branch! From the American restaurant vibe to the Mond Set that let me enjoy several flavors at once, I left satisfied. My top pick was the Hawaiian pizza🍍 and the truffle fries with their strong truffle aroma are also a must-try!

Just a heads-up: the Mond Set is generous enough that two people might end up quite full, but you can always pack the leftovers to go. If you're craving pizza near Isu Station, looking for a pizza-and-beer spot in Sadang-dong, or visiting with a group who wants to share a variety of pizzas and chicken, this place is worth a try. Next time, I'll leave the car at home and properly enjoy pizza with beer too🍕🍺
