Chat Baker is my husband's and my absolute favorite regular spot, a must-stop every time our family goes to Anseong Farmland! We went back again to this café near Anseong Farmland. From tasty brunch dishes like pasta to a bakery full of all kinds of bread, it's just a perfect place!

When we're out with the kids, we can fill our bellies and get dessert all in one place, so we keep coming back~ The mango bingsu (shaved ice) I had last summer was so refreshing and so good I still can't forget it, sob. Today we ordered some other drinks plus the famous fresh corn bread and cookies, and we really went for it!

What are the interior and the second floor like?

The biggest plus of Chat Baker is the open space running from the first floor to the second. The interior here is honestly insane... sob. It's open on all sides and so stylish that you'll be impressed the moment you walk in~

The space runs from the first floor up to the second, and every area is specially and prettily decorated! The view out the window is healing in itself, so just sitting there lifts your mood~ You can tell they cared about every light and piece of furniture, so photos turn out great from anywhere!

Even with kids it never feels stuffy, and you can stay comfortably, so I promise it's a must-stop for anyone visiting Anseong Farmland~ For a weekend outing with family or a date, there's no better atmosphere!

How does the fresh corn bread taste?

The fresh corn bread, Chat Baker's signature and most famous item, is a chewy, soft loaf packed with popping corn kernels. The kids loved it, and even my mom, who got a takeaway portion, was amazed, so it works well as a gift too.

We finally tried it! Sweet, popping corn is studded all through the bread~ The crumb is so chewy and soft, and tearing it by hand is half the fun! The nutty corn flavor that spreads through your mouth as you chew is the best part, and the kids go absolutely wild for it, sob.

I couldn't bear to waste the leftovers, so I packed them up and took them to my mom, and after one bite she kept exclaiming how nutty and delicious it was! It wins over adults and kids alike, so it's perfect as a takeaway gift too~

Is the macadamia cookie dry?

Chat Baker's macadamia cookie isn't dry or hard; it melts softly in your mouth. We picked it along with the fresh corn bread, and this cookie is seriously great too...

Cookies are often dry or too hard, but this one isn't dry at all! It melts in your mouth so softly and nuttily, I can't even explain~ It's loaded with sweet chocolate and crunchy macadamia nuts, and eating it with coffee is a perfect match!

I ate it alongside my drink and finished a whole one in no time, sob. From brunch to bread to dessert cookies, everything is so good that I'm completely satisfied every time I come!
