What was uncomfortable about wearing thick outerwear?
There were several times when the seat belt felt too short getting into the car, or felt tight and restrictive because of my thick outerwear. The part fastened around my stomach in particular could press down and even hurt.
My child also had trouble adjusting the seat belt length and buckling it. Since I believe you should always wear a seat belt in the car, I looked for a way to reduce the discomfort and ended up using the Migijae Car Seat Belt Extender Clip.

The box contained a set of two clips. The design was simple, and the dark-black color went well with the leather seats in my car.
The dark-black coated finish looked neat and sturdy. Its overall length, including the clip section where the belt goes in, is 9.1 cm.
What was it like to attach, remove, and move between seats?
It uses a one-touch button system for connecting and removing it, so the process felt simple. I also found it handy that I could use it in the back seat and then move it to the passenger seat as needed.
I also tried connecting the seat belt to the clip in the passenger seat. Pulling the belt out and buckling it, as well as the fit itself, felt comfortable to me.
Did the fit change when I wore a puffer jacket?
The biggest difference for me was when I wore a thick puffer jacket. Before, I would sit there and put up with the tightness around my stomach, but after using the extender clip, that tight feeling was reduced and it felt more comfortable.
