Pork galbi set with barley tea near Starfield Hanam: Dolsoe Ssambap
In short
Dolsoe Ssambap is a Korean ssambap (rice with leafy wraps) restaurant on Misagangbyeonhangang-ro in Hanam, Gyeonggi, not far from Starfield Hanam. Looking for a family meal ahead of Chuseok, the writer ordered the pork galbi set at Dolsoe Ssambap and was impressed by the unlimited wrap greens and side dishes, the seafood ssamjang chosen with the set, barley tea served instead of water, and the steamed egg. With free parking support, Dolsoe Ssambap is a solid pick for a family meal with parents or a bite before or after shopping at Starfield Hanam.

With Chuseok coming up, I was looking for somewhere to have a hearty family meal and ended up at Dolsoe Ssambap in Hanam Misa! It's close to Starfield Hanam too, so it seemed like a good spot to eat before or after shopping.
Dolsoe Ssambap at a glance
- Lots of parking spots and it's free — loved that
- Unlimited wrap greens! The seafood ssamjang is the kicker here
- Great for going with family, great for a healthy meal
- Could work well as a Hanam lunch spot or a Misa dinner gathering
Dolsoe Ssambap is located in the Hanam Misa area and isn't far from Starfield Hanam either, so it was easy to get to. There's also Misa Jeongyeong Park nearby, so it seemed like a good place for a walk after eating. Let's get into the full review.

Parking and directions to Dolsoe Ssambap
Dolsoe Ssambap offers parking support, and you can use both the above-ground and underground parking at the building. Navigate to the location I've attached and you'll see this parking lot. You don't need to go inside — both above-ground and underground work! Parking support ⭕️

After parking, follow the sign for Building A.

Finding units in these shopping complexes has gotten really tricky these days ㅠㅠ Dolsoe Ssambap is on the 2nd floor of Building A, units 0016-17. Found my way in!

Are the wrap greens and side dishes at Dolsoe Ssambap unlimited?
Yes, at Dolsoe Ssambap the wrap greens and side dishes come out first and they're all unlimited! There's a wide variety of wrap greens and several side dishes, so the table fills up fast. Eating meat together with wrap greens especially makes you eat more rice than usual haha.

Nutty barley tea instead of water
One thing I personally loved! Instead of water, Dolsoe Ssambap has nutty barley tea ready, and I'm such a fan of that. Drinking a cup of barley tea while eating ssambap (wrap rice) made everything feel more relaxed, almost like eating a home-cooked meal :)

The wrap greens weren't just one or two kinds — there were really many varieties prepared. Normally when I eat wraps I stick to the vegetables I'm used to, but it was fun to pick a little of each different kind haha. It was also nice to choose different wrap greens depending on the type of meat.
What does the seafood ssamjang at Dolsoe Ssambap taste like?
What I found most special about Dolsoe Ssambap was the ssamjang (wrap sauce)! If you order a set menu, you can choose one of two ssamjang, and I picked the seafood one.
I'm usually not that into ssamjang, but this seafood ssamjang was genuinely delicious haha. Maybe because of the added umami from the seafood, it went really well with the wrap greens. Once I piled rice, meat, and a generous scoop of seafood ssamjang onto a wrap green, I kept reaching for more! Being able to choose the type of ssamjang yourself was also a fun, unique point of Dolsoe Ssambap :)

Steamed egg served with the set meal
I loved that Dolsoe Ssambap's set meal comes with steamed egg (gyeranjjim) too! Having the soft, warm steamed egg served alongside was great with the ssambap haha. Between the side dishes, wrap greens, and meat, you're already pretty full, but adding the steamed egg made it feel like a properly full spread :)

How does the pork galbi set at Dolsoe Ssambap taste?
I ordered the pork galbi (grilled short rib) set at Dolsoe Ssambap! The seasoning on the pork galbi wasn't too strong — sweet and savory with a nice saltiness — so it went well with the wrap greens.
The meat was also on the tender side, tasty with rice too, and when I loaded a wrap green with rice, meat, and seafood ssamjang, it really all came together haha. Since so many different wrap greens were served, the pork galbi tasted different whether eaten plain or wrapped, so I got to enjoy it in a few different ways.

Is Dolsoe Ssambap good for a Chuseok family meal?
These days I find myself preferring Korean food with lots of side dishes and vegetables over heavily seasoned food. Dolsoe Ssambap's menu setup seems like something parents would enjoy too, so it's worth considering if you're looking for a family meal spot for Chuseok!
It'd also work well as a course — shop at Starfield Hanam and then eat a hearty meal, or the reverse: eat at Dolsoe Ssambap first and then take a walk toward Misa Jeongyeong Park.
