Euljiro burger pub by day: Budweiser draft & new patty melt, Daily Fix

Today I visited Daily Fix Euljiro, the burger place BTS RM recommended. Daily Fix is famous as a Kang Min-kyung favorite, but it's also well known as the burger joint that has BTS RM's autograph.

What is the atmosphere like at Daily Fix Euljiro?

Daily Fix Euljiro is a handmade burger spot that plays upbeat, pub-style music even on weekday afternoons. This is the inside of the shop. I came on a weekday afternoon, and it still had a really pubby vibe with fun music playing.

Daily Fix Euljiro sits among office buildings, so it's an easy walk for office workers in Euljiro, and around City Hall and Gwanghwamun too.

The staff were especially friendly, which left an impression. I also liked the line "Scanning may suddenly make you hungry." Fun touch!

It's a totally American pub vibe, so you can enjoy the lively mood even in broad daylight. That's why I ordered a beer with my burger.

Daily Fix Euljiro drinks menu: whiskey and Boilermakers

Tasty handmade burgers with single malt whiskey, Daily Fix Euljiro

The drink list at Daily Fix Euljiro is seriously varied. Bourbon, single malt whiskey and other things you rarely see at a regular burger place. There's also the Boilermaker, Daily Fix's special American-style bomb shot (a shot dropped into beer), and honestly, if I'd come in the evening, I'd have loved to try it.

500cc Budweiser draft with foam as soft as whipped cream

I ordered a 500cc Budweiser draft at Daily Fix Euljiro. It came in a big glass, and the soft cream on top was impressive. The staff seem to pour draft beer really well.

The foam was honestly as soft as fresh whipped cream. It's been a while since I had such good draft beer, and it put me in a great mood.

What does the new patty melt at Daily Fix taste like?

The patty melt is Daily Fix's new menu item: a sandwich with a Hanwoo (Korean beef) patty, Swiss cheese and caramelized onion between rye toast. I was going to get the burger Kang Min-kyung recommended, but then I spotted the new patty melt and ordered it. Among all those burgers, the sandwich-style patty melt just looked really delicious.

A sandwich holding all the rich juiciness of a burger. Crispy, mild rye toast, a 100% Hanwoo patty, two slices of melty Swiss cheese, and deep caramelized onion come together deliciously.

With its crisp, golden-toasted outside, the patty melt was a really tasty sandwich with a rich, oily flavor. If you've already had Daily Fix's burgers, I recommend trying the new patty melt.

Daily Fix chicken strips for 19,900 won: how spicy is the Cheongyang mayo?

The chicken strips at Daily Fix Euljiro cost ₩19,900, and each boneless piece is huge. Burgers alone felt like not enough, so I ordered chicken. These are the chicken strips, and the pieces are enormous.

The dips are curry ranch and spicy Cheongyang mayo (made with Korean hot chili peppers), and the Cheongyang mayo is really hot. But it keeps you coming back, and with beer the combo is the best.

Unlike regular fried chicken, these are boneless strips with each piece so big that you get a mouth full of chicken, which is the best part.

The spicy coleslaw that comes with the chicken strips is also seriously spicy and really gets your appetite going.

Is Daily Fix Euljiro worth a daytime visit?

Daily Fix Euljiro, the burger place recommended by Kang Min-kyung and BTS RM. I recommend it as a good Euljiro spot where you can enjoy tasty burgers with upbeat music.
