Cleansing foam for dry winter skin: HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal

How did it feel on dry winter skin?

When I do not manage moisture well, my skin tends to feel tight and sting even after I apply lotion, so I chose this as a cleansing foam for winter. The cleansing balm from the same line had previously felt lighter than oil while still leaving moisture behind, so I tried this product too.

The black tube made it easy to squeeze out the amount I needed. After washing, my skin felt bouncy for a while.

What were the texture and lather like?

The formula was fairly thick, and when I rubbed a small amount between my hands, it quickly made a soft lather. The foam also felt dense, which made it pleasant to use while cleansing. It felt almost unscented to me.

Did it remove oil and foundation-free sunscreen well?

I applied oil and foundation-free sunscreen separately to the back of my hand, then lathered the cleanser and washed them off. Both areas came clean. I think double cleansing is necessary on days when I wear makeup.

The product information says it contains Jirisan true charcoal. For skin that feels dry, I felt it was worth trying when I wanted a moisturized feel after cleansing.
