Charcoal cleansing balm for summer oil: HEEDA Jirisan 100ml

In summer, I worry about heat and sebum production, so I switched to HEEDA cleansing balm containing Jirisan charcoal. The product listed 10,000ppm charcoal powder and squalane.

What were the container and feel like?

It came in black packaging with a spatula and a clear cap. The lid was a cap style that clicked into place when opened and closed, so it was more convenient than the screw-top type I had used before. The spatula could be stored on the holder inside the lid.

The balm felt soft, like scooping butter, and I did not feel any irritation while using it.

How much makeup did it remove?

I spread it evenly over my dry face, then massaged it in, focusing on areas where blackheads and pores concerned me. Next, I added a little water to emulsify it until white, then rinsed with lukewarm water.

I applied concealer, mascara, tint, eyeliner, and sunscreen to my wrist, then applied the product and rolled it around for about 15 seconds. Some waterproof mascara and tint staining remained, but they came off after using it one more time.

What was disappointing about carrying it around?

Since it is a large 100ml size, carrying the product itself around felt a little burdensome. I decanted enough for one or two uses into a contact lens case, which made it easy to put in my bag, and it did not leak while I used it.
