Winter-dry skin cleansing foam: HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Hydrating Cleansing Foam is a Korean cleansing foam I tried during winter for post-wash tightness. Its thick black formula emulsified like oil while rolling, then turned into soft foam with water; I found it suited to my sunscreen-focused daily routine.

How did it feel when post-wash tightness was a concern in winter?

In winter, my face kept feeling tight, and that feeling became stronger after washing, so I wanted to try changing my cleansing foam. I remembered using HEEDA cleansing balm well before, so this time I used the cleansing foam.

How does the texture change?

A dense, thick formula came out of the tube. When I gently rolled it between my hands, it first felt like a mud mask, then emulsified like oil.

As I kept rolling it, the black formula became lighter and turned into a grayish cream. When I added a little water, soft, fluffy foam formed, so I could cleanse gently.

What cleansing routine did I use it in?

I usually wear only sunscreen, so I used it for my everyday cleansing routine. When I wore heavier makeup, I thought it would be better to do a light first cleanse and use this as a second cleanser.

What ingredients are listed?

The product listed Jirisan hardwood charcoal 5,000 ppm, 7-layer complex hyaluronic acid, Aqua Ceramide, and ice plant. Although it was a black formula containing hardwood charcoal, I found the process of it turning into foam when water was added memorable.
