If you're enjoying a date day in Hapjeong and looking for a café with a great mood, you want one where the coffee is special too. Central Site, near Hapjeong Station, is a specialty coffee roastery café where you can taste the character of many different beans.
I loved being able to enjoy the coffee's natural aroma and flavor, and the stylish space made it a lovely place to spend a relaxed while. If you like coffee, this Hapjeong Station café is a special spot I'd recommend for a Hapjeong date.
What do the exterior and outdoor seats of Central Site Hapjeong look like?
Central Site Hapjeong is on the ground floor of a corner building in an alley close to Hapjeong Station, and the black awning and the 'CENTRALSITE COFFEE ROASTERS' sign make it stand out from far away. There are wooden benches and stools in front, so you can drink your coffee outdoors too.

The stylish exterior, eye-catching even from a distance, left an impression. The black awning stretching wide along the ground floor and the sign gave off that professional roastery-café feel.

The whole front is glass, so you can naturally peek inside from the street, and the warm lighting with wood-toned furniture felt refined yet comfortable.

In particular, a long wooden bench and small stools sit out front, so you can enjoy your coffee outside. On a cool autumn day it's a nice place to sit back and relax, which makes it a space I'd recommend for a Hapjeong date.
What are the interior and seating like at Central Site?
Inside, Central Site Hapjeong has an industrial feel, with exposed concrete and wood-toned furniture. There are round tables, vintage stools, and a bar table along the big windows.

The exposed pipes on the ceiling and the rough-textured floor felt naturally unfinished, and with the soft lighting the place felt cozy and stylish rather than cold.

In the middle of the shop, small round tables and vintage stools are placed freely, and at the bar table along the windows you can sip coffee while watching the street. The window seats with a row of round lights were especially memorable.
On one side sit a big espresso machine and various coffee tools, giving off a real professional roastery vibe. There was also a corner set up so you can experience different beans and their aromas yourself, which I found interesting.

I liked the interior's focus on the coffee and the space itself, with no flashy decoration. It's great for chatting with a friend or spending a relaxed time with a partner, so I'd recommend this Hapjeong Station café as a Hapjeong date spot.
What are the menu and prices at Central Site?
At Central Site Hapjeong, brewed coffee starts at ₩8,000, and the premium Panama Geisha is ₩22,000. An Americano is ₩5,000 and a café latte is ₩5,500.

As a coffee roastery café, Central Site offers a range of specialty beans. I especially liked that you can enjoy different flavors depending on origin and processing, from Panama Geisha to Ethiopia, Colombia and Guatemala. Each bean's flavor notes, such as jasmine, peach, berries and chocolate, are explained in detail, which makes it easy to choose a coffee to your taste.
They also had vanilla bean latte and oat latte, and the autumn limited-edition menu, including an oat & vanilla shake, a cold brew Mont Blanc and a choux cream latte, caught my eye.

For desserts, the showcase had classic tiramisu and brownie tiramisu (₩8,500 each) and Mont Blanc tiramisu (₩9,500). With dessert as well as coffee, it's a good café to drop into during a Hapjeong date.
What did I order at Central Site?
This time I ordered the Colombia Quebraditas Geisha Washed Peach Punch (₩12,000) and the Colombia La Betania Geisha Washed X1 (₩10,000). I also added an original classic tiramisu (₩8,500) to go with the coffee.

They do specialty hand drip right in the shop, and you can smell the beans too.

How did the iced Quebraditas Geisha Peach Punch taste?
I ordered the Colombia Quebraditas Geisha Washed Peach Punch iced, and it's a coffee to enjoy for its fruity aroma and bright acidity. The peach-evoking name alone made me curious about this specialty coffee.
The bean description card lists notes of yellow peach, apricot, white grape, strawberry, white sugar and watermelon. It's a bean where you can expect the delicate fruit aromas and bright acidity typical of Geisha.
It came in a clear glass with big ice cubes, and the clear amber color was so pretty. It has a different charm from a regular strong Americano, and it was fun to enjoy coffee centered on fruity fragrance and acidity.

How was the hot La Betania Geisha X1?
I ordered the Colombia La Betania Geisha Washed X1 hot, and it came in a double-walled glass. It's a Geisha bean from the La Betania farm in Huila, Colombia, marked by bright floral and fruit notes such as passion flower, jasmine, lemon, raspberry and sweet orange.
The double-walled glass made it feel neat and upscale. Since every bean has a different flavor, it was also fun to alternate between the two cups and compare.
I was especially impressed that the coffee comes with a card explaining the bean's origin, processing method and flavor notes in detail. It went beyond just drinking coffee and became an experience of getting to know the personality of specialty coffee.

Does the original classic tiramisu go with Geisha?
Central Site's original classic tiramisu (₩8,500) paired well with both Geisha coffees. The neatly cut square looked tempting with its layers of cream and sponge, and the top was generously covered with cocoa powder and crushed chocolate.
The soft, moist cream with its coffee flavor made it a dessert that goes well with rich specialty coffee. With no overly fancy decoration, it felt focused on the true taste of tiramisu.

Is Central Site a good Hapjeong date café?
What impressed me most at Central Site Hapjeong was that you don't just order coffee; you can compare the different aromas and tastes of each bean. I could watch the hand drip process, and thanks to the description cards served with the coffee, I became interested in flavor notes I'd never noticed before.
With good desserts and specialty coffee in a nice space, I'd recommend it as a Hapjeong date course for couples who love coffee. If you want to try something a little more special than a regular Americano, this Hapjeong Station café is worth a visit.
