What's the atmosphere like inside Salering Gyodae Direct Store?

I went at an awkward hour, yet there were quite a few customers. Some came in groups and some were eating solo. It was busy, so I only snapped one side, but there's a much roomier, wider space toward the back!! The green-toned interior suits poke so well, and the whole place feels fresh and leafy.

It was clean too! You can tell it's well looked after.

Salering's menu and how to order at the kiosk

Salering is famous for its "bibim poke" (mixed poke bowls), but for anyone who needs a more filling meal there are rice bowls, pasta and more. The dressings come in a big variety too! When you pick a main at the kiosk, it suggests recommended sauces, so ordering was easy.^^

What I took out from Salering Gyodae Direct Store, and the prices

I took out two items: the grilled chicken thigh bibim poke (₩11,900) and the pepper chicken breast bibim poke (₩10,900). I switched both bases to "egg-only" (+₩1,000), so the total came to ₩24,800. For dressings I chose from the recommendations the kiosk suggested.^^

Choosing the "egg-only" base costs ₩1,000 extra, and you get more egg (jidan, thin egg strips) than the standard portion. When I opened the poke, there was a generous amount of egg~

The poke base can be chosen from 4 options: brown rice and barley / whole wheat pasta / vegetables only / egg-only (+₩1,000)~ Pick whichever suits your taste.

The egg at Salering Gyodae Direct Store is soft and moist, with a lovely fluffy texture! Mixing in plenty of it makes the softness richer and the whole thing tastes even better. It's a gentle, easy composition for eating with a child too!

Pepper chicken breast bibim poke with kim sesame mayo: how is it?

Salering's pepper chicken breast bibim poke salad is ₩10,900 with the standard options, so it's good value too! It combines tender steamed chicken breast with more than 15 ingredients.^^

How does the steamed chicken breast taste? Really moist and tender! Not dry at all, it practically melts. It blends well with all the other ingredients, so the flavors come together nicely.

With the extra egg and all the ingredients together, even better! Mixed with the kim sesame mayo sauce from the recommended list, it added a nutty flavor that I liked.^^

Grilled chicken thigh bibim poke with sweet soy: how is it?

Salering's grilled chicken thigh bibim poke salad is ₩11,900 as standard, and I added the ₩1,000 egg. If you prefer thigh to breast, I recommend the menu with grilled chicken thigh! It's low in grease yet pleasantly chewy, with a different charm from chicken breast.

The toppings are varied and blend harmoniously, so this Gyodae poke tastes best when well mixed! I mixed in the recommended sweet soy sauce, and it wasn't harsh, just a nice sweet-salty balance that was easy to eat.^^

The harmonious flavors were especially impressive at Salering Gyodae Direct Store! Crunchy salad texture is nice, but if you want something softer and moister, do as I did: add the egg and enjoy a slightly new take on Gyodae poke.^^
