29 Tamago Euljiro Branch is at 17-1 Mareunnae-ro, 2nd floor, Jung-gu, Seoul. On weekdays it is open 10:30 to 20:30 (last order 20:00) with a break from 15:00 to 17:00, and on Saturdays 10:00 to 14:30 (last order 14:00). Takeout and delivery are available, and the restroom is inside the shop.

29 Tamago is a newly opened keto gimbap spot near Euljiro 3-ga Station. If you're looking for healthy gimbap in Euljiro 3-ga, I recommend it so, so much!!

29 Tamago is a premium healthy gimbap shop built around a whole rolled egg omelet (gyeran-mari), specializing in keto gimbap, fusion gimbap and fresh-pressed juice!

They say the ingredients are prepped that morning and cooked as soon as you order, so it's a tasty, healthy lunch spot in Euljiro. The keto gimbap is loaded with vegetables, so even without rice it's incredibly filling, haha.

There are Mario and Yoshi at the entrance, lol. So cute.

29 Tamago atmosphere and seating

29 Tamago Euljiro Branch has window seats where you can eat solo while looking outside! I visited in the evening, but I'd recommend it as a lunch spot for office workers around Euljiro 3-ga, lol.

The inside is pleasant and fairly spacious. It looked like it could even handle a small group! There were really a lot of office workers there for a meal. There were also lots of cute little props.

I also liked that the restroom is inside the shop. It had a fragrant diffuser, hand cream, Grand Hand hand wash and even a sachet...! The scent was amazing, lol.

29 Tamago menu and how to order

You order the 29 Tamago menu at a kiosk.

29 Tamago has keto gimbap, rice paper rolls, fusion gimbap and side dishes! With this much variety, it's probably heaven for people on a diet, haha. They sell alcohol and drinks too. After some agonizing, I ordered the following:

• Keto tuna gimbap ₩10,500
• Keto crab stick gimbap (protein bomb) ₩10,500
• Rice paper roll (salad gimbap) ₩12,000
• Jidan udon (udon topped with egg strips) ₩7,000

Everything at 29 Tamago is made the moment you order, so it takes a little while, haha. We were chatting with my friend while we waited, so it came out quickly.

The look of it... isn't it amazing? I was surprised at how huge the gimbap was. Put one in your mouth in a single bite and it feels like your mouth would burst, lol.

Keto gimbap together with udon makes a really hearty meal, lol. The hot broth went very well with the keto gimbap!

How does 29 Tamago's jidan udon taste? (₩7,000)

29 Tamago's jidan udon is hot udon topped with soft egg strips (jidan) and fried tofu pouch! The broth is on the salty side, and the noodles are well seasoned too, which I liked. If you order keto gimbap, they give you a soup by default, but it tastes different from this, so keep that in mind, haha. The noodles are very soft and I enjoyed them a lot.

How does the keto tuna gimbap taste? (₩10,500)

29 Tamago's keto tuna gimbap is a rice-free keto roll packed with a whole rolled egg omelet, fresh vegetables and tuna, and it's a bestseller. Mayo sauce is served separately.

The keto tuna gimbap looks incredible.... Savory tuna mayo with the oil squeezed out is mixed with crunchy pickled radish, and they even tucked in a Cheongyang chili pepper!

A neatly rolled round egg omelet, thinly shredded carrot, savory tuna mayo and spicy Cheongyang chili... there's no way this isn't good!! There's also braised burdock root in there to balance the seasoning.

They give you mayo sauce by default, but I dipped mine in the sriracha mayo that came with another dish, haha. Honestly everything is delicious tho ㅠㅠㅠ It isn't heavily seasoned, which I loved!!

How does the keto crab stick gimbap (protein bomb) taste? (₩10,500)

29 Tamago's keto crab stick gimbap (protein bomb) is a rice-free keto roll with a whole rolled egg omelet, fresh vegetables and plenty of steamed crab sticks.

The keto crab stick gimbap has a really soft texture. The crab sticks are soft and the egg omelet is soft, so it's easy to eat! But seriously, the egg omelet is cheating, so delicious;; It's so soft and savory you'd think there was cheese in it, haha. You can taste the savory flavor of the crab sticks too, so I recommend this one~

How does the rice paper roll (salad gimbap) taste? (₩12,000)

The rice paper roll (salad gimbap) is 29 Tamago's signature rice paper keto gimbap. You get health and flavor at the same time!

Seriously.... every single roll is enormous. The rice paper gimbap is clearly less seasoned than the other rolls! It tastes a lot better with the sauce they give you, lol.

The sauce they gave me is sriracha mayo, haha. It adds a savory depth to the mild salad gimbap. Since it's wrapped in rice paper, the gimbap wrapper (?) is chewy, which made it taste even better!!

This is the end piece of the gimbap and it's really... big. How did they roll it so well?? lol

Inside the rice paper gimbap are carrot, bell pepper, cucumber, red cabbage, cabbage, pineapple, crab stick and egg omelet!

How many 29 Tamago gimbap should two people order?

My friend and I ordered a lot, thinking we could finish three kinds of gimbap plus the jidan udon, but probably because of all the vegetables, we got fuller than expected. So we took what was left home, haha.
