Seoul Station sandwich shop for a Han River picnic: Dance Dance Dance
In short
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a baguette sandwich shop on basement level 3 of Grand Central, right outside Exit 4 of Seoul Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. For a Han River picnic on Nodeul Island, the blogger ordered a takeout jambon (ham) jalapeño baguette with double toppings for 5,000 won extra. Takeout took about 18 minutes, but the baguette was still crisp 2 hours later. The double-topping jambon jalapeño baguette from Dance Dance Dance is recommended for a Han River picnic or a filling meal before a train.

Packing a Han River picnic sandwich at Seoul Station
I packed sandwiches for a Noeldeul Island Han River picnic at Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station (댄스댄스댄스 서울역점), on B3 of Grand Central. It's right outside Seoul Station Exit 4, so it was super easy to find.
The weather is just perfect for a Han River picnic these days! I grabbed a picnic mat for the first time in ages and headed out to Noeldeul Island. A picnic isn't complete without a good sandwich, so this time I stopped by Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station, which is supposed to be hot near Seoul Station, and got takeout.

Is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station crowded?
It was a weekend, so the shop felt quiet. On weekday lunchtimes it seems to get really busy. Just a heads-up!

There are plenty of seats inside, so if you were disappointed by the lack of seating at the original Hannam branch, I'd recommend the Seoul Station branch~

Dance Dance Dance menu and how to order
Dance Dance Dance became famous for its matcha tofu cream cheese baguette. You order at a kiosk, and double toppings are available. Every sandwich I've tried has been delicious, so give them a try, try, try~

There's also what looks like a new hot ham and cheese sandwich, and it looks so tempting!

You can order at the kiosk, and double toppings are possible too ><

Running-certification coffee discount
For runners, Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station gives a coffee discount if you show proof of your run! A whole ₩1,000 off!

New chocolate baguette and scones
A chocolate baguette came out as a new menu item, and there were still a few left when I visited :)

The takeout box is so cute.. They're selling scones now too, and they say the unrefined raw cane sugar in them makes them even more reassuring.

The rule for Dance Dance Dance baguettes is to eat them within 30 minutes of buying!! Let's eat before the baguette goes soggy.

Jambon jalapeño baguette with double toppings: how long does takeout take?
I picked the jambon jalapeño baguette (jambon is French-style cured ham) and added ₩5,000 for double toppings. From placing the takeout order to getting it took about 18 minutes.
If I'm going to eat, I only feel satisfied when it's packed full of fillings and really hearty.
Takeout takes a long time
At first I wondered why it was taking so long when there were so few people, but it seems that for takeout they take their time to keep the baguette crisp so it doesn't go soggy quickly! Once I ate it, I got it. Anyway, if you're in a hurry, leave plenty of time for takeout~

How the jambon jalapeño baguette tasted at Noeldeul Island
Thanks to the double toppings, the Dance Dance Dance jambon jalapeño baguette was packed to bursting with jambon and jalapeño tofu cream cheese. It was neatly packed, and I headed straight to Noeldeul Island.
I spread my mat at a prime spot with a full Han River view and took out the sandwich, and the moment I opened the wrapper I couldn't help but gasp at how it looked. The thickness made the extra charge feel definitely worth it.

Still crisp after 2 hours?
I ate the Dance Dance Dance baguette about 2 hours after packing it, and the texture hadn't died at all!! I took a big bite, and that crispy baguette texture was honestly the best.
The salty, mild flavor of the jambon spreads out, and you can tell right away that the ham is good quality.

The kick of the jambon jalapeño baguette is the jalapeño
The real kick of the jambon jalapeño baguette is the jalapeño! With so much jambon and tofu cream cheese it could get a bit heavy, but the spicy jalapeño you bite into here and there balances everything out, so I never got tired of it and enjoyed it to the end.
Eating a quality sandwich in the breeze at wide-open Noeldeul Island Han River Park was pure healing. If you're looking for picnic food near Seoul Station, or need a hearty, tasty meal before catching a train, I fully recommend the Dance Dance Dance jambon jalapeño baguette! If you usually like your sandwiches stuffed, be sure to try the double toppings too.
