I went to Biorn Hair Apgujeong Rodeo for the root dye I absolutely need on a regular schedule: gray coverage. I have a trip to Japan next month, so I went to get tidied up in advance.

What's the salon like?

The salon looked big from outside, but it's huge once you step in. It was neatly organized and tidy :) I was shown to my seat after my reservation was checked at the entrance.

How was the color blended between bleached lower hair and the root dye?

My designer checked my hair color carefully before starting :) The lower hair was heavily bleached from damage, so she matched its level to the top section.

I asked for photos so I could compare before and after. Oh wow, haha. It looks way more intense from above than when I look in the mirror. Why is there so much gray hair, haha. Please give me perfect coverage today.

Protecting the hairline from stains and the scalp

Before the root dye, she put cream on my hairline so the dye wouldn't stain it, and sprayed a protector on my scalp.

She applied the dye carefully and quickly too :) Now that I'm older, looking pretty matters, but I can't sit for long, haha. I love a fast-handed designer.

Drinks and snacks while the dye sets

After the dye is applied, you just wait a little. Every time I see this, it looks like an ostrich egg, haha. They even brought me a cushion so I could use my phone comfortably.

Biorn Hair Apgujeong Rodeo also lets you order drinks. I asked for an iced Americano :)

The iced Americano came with snacks. The coffee was good and the snacks were good too. One bite of the mini yakgwa (small honey cookie) and I couldn't stop. I inhaled every snack they gave me.

Shampoo and scalp pack after dyeing

After she checked a test strand, I moved to the shampoo area. The shampoo felt really refreshing, and she finished with a pack.

My scalp is on the sensitive side and felt hot, but the pack cooled it down a lot. The heat in my scalp dropped right away and it felt refreshing.

Bangs trim, blow-dry and the root dye result

To finish, my designer blow-dried my hair and trimmed my bangs :)

Gray coverage is perfect >_< My messy hair is totally neat now. The color blend is perfect, perfect.

Check the before and after, it's completely different. Both the gray coverage and the color blend are perfect! Just getting rid of the gray makes everything look so much neater.

A salon stop before a date after my husband finished work

I had my hair done right near my husband's office on purpose, so we could go on a date after work. The blow-dry came out so pretty that my mood is way up. You've got to dress up a bit for a date, haha.
