What is Taqueros, the Magok taco restaurant?

Taqueros is a Mexican restaurant for tacos and ribs in GM Tower by Magok Station. I was craving Mexican, so I just popped in. I'd been wanting tacos so badly lately, and they were so good haha. Tasty, generous portions and a friendly price too, what more can you ask for..! It's officially a Magok taco spot in my book. The atmosphere is great as well, so it works for anyone looking for a family restaurant in Magok or a Magok date spot 🌮🍖

Taqueros location and opening hours

Taqueros is on the 2nd floor of GM Tower at Magok Station! It's close to the station, so it's easy to get to. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and Taqueros is right there on your left as soon as you arrive. Not just the tacos, the ribs are great here too haha

Taqueros has a family-restaurant feel! The lighting is nice and the Texas-vibe interior goes well with the menu haha. I think it's a good Magok date spot.

Tacos really call for a shot of Jose Cuervo.. next time I'll try that pairing haha

How to order at Taqueros, and current events

You order by scanning the QR code on the table! For the Naver review event, you can get Nutella tortilla chips or ice cream haha

We ordered the Taqueros Signature Couple Set! You can swap options within the set haha. The price is honestly so good…

The tortilla chips come out by default! The jalapeño cheese dipping sauce served with them is insanely good.. basically human feed T_T Next time I need to come to Taqueros for drinks.

The lime draft beer is +₩3,500 as a couple set add-on, or ₩5,000 if you order it separately! Ordering with the set is magic, everything gets cheaper~ The lime draft beer is refreshing and fragrant, and pairs well with the tacos and ribs.

How are the fish and chicken tacos at Taqueros?

The Taqueros couple set came with a fish taco and a chicken taco! I think they were the best tacos I've had lately lol

The Taqueros tacos are big and generous. One is a crispy chicken taco fried Southern American style, and the other is a crispy fish taco fried in house-made beer batter.

Chicken taco

Crunchy chicken with salsa is a honey of a combo..! The dressing and the chicken go together so well. Take a bite, then a swig of beer, and all the tiredness melts away~

Fish taco

The fish taco was insanely good. If you come to Taqueros in Magok, definitely try the fish taco! Maybe because it's fried in beer batter, the outside is fluffy-crispy and the fish inside is tender, just perfect. One bite and I was completely smitten 🥺

How were the Texas BBQ ribs at Taqueros?

The main of the couple set is the Texas BBQ ribs (650–700g). And I'm a total BBQ rib fanatic. They arrived looking this generous! I felt like I was at Outback, a family restaurant haha

Tacos, ribs and beer, and it came to under ₩70,000, for real..?! The ribs were really good too and I already want them again 🥺🥺 They say the ribs are sous vide for a long time, then brushed with a special BBQ sauce and grilled until tender.

Maybe because they're cooked at low temperature and then grilled once more, the BBQ ribs were incredibly tender. They cut between each bone with a knife, and the ribs cut apart smoothly.

There's plenty of meat on the ribs, so even a single bone was filling haha. The BBQ ribs are tender and delicious, better than most family restaurants, so I think I'll be coming to Taqueros often.

Hidden under the ribs was a generous helping of fluffy, crispy fries too.

The BBQ ribs are good on their own, and dipped in the BBQ sauce you get a sweet-and-sour, richer flavor. So tender and so good haha, I want to eat these every week..

The fries are heavenly too. They're good with the ranch sauce that comes alongside, but with the jalapeño cheese dip from the tortilla chips they just keep disappearing ><

Is Taqueros in Magok worth a return visit?

I'd return to Taqueros, this Magok taco spot, 500 percent. Whenever I have plans in Magok, I'm going again haha. The ribs and tacos are heavenly and the manager was super kind, so it's a Magok date spot where I left feeling happy.
