I visited Ieo Coffee Roasters Gongdeok Branch (이어커피로스터스 공덕점), a café near Gyeongui Line Forest Park that's small but serves a cup of coffee made with real heart! haha I found my new favorite café around the Forest Park,,

Why Ieo Coffee Roasters Gongdeok for a weekend morning coffee?
Ieo Coffee Roasters Gongdeok Branch is known around Gongdeok for great coffee, so this weekend I resolved to get up early and have a morning coffee~ and it started my weekend off right!

How big is Ieo Coffee Roasters Gongdeok, and what is the seating like?
Ieo Coffee Roasters Gongdeok Branch is a compact café set up with tables for 2–4 people. When I first walked in, it didn't feel small at all, but once I sat down and looked around, I realized there aren't that many tables, so it's not a very big space!

Still, it's so polished, a single space transformed with taste and care, that it was easy to settle in and stay a while haha

What surprised me is that the customers weren't limited to people in their 20s and 30s; all kinds of age groups came in. When I visited, a group of middle-aged friends came in a happy crowd, bringing friends and saying the coffee here is great and a must-try. It left an impression haha

Overhearing the regulars made me wonder how good the coffee could be, and it was even better than I expected. What a café near the Forest Park!

Ieo Coffee Roasters Gongdeok menu and desserts
The biggest feature of Ieo Coffee Roasters Gongdeok is apparently that they make even the syrups and desserts themselves. The carefully prepared desserts all looked so good that I agonized over what to eat +_+

I mean, look at that egg tart, it looks so tempting,,

For desserts they sell lemon cake, Basque cheesecake, walnut pecan chocolate cookies and white macadamia cookies,

and they offer coffee plus a range of signature coffees and drinks! I wanted to try them all, but I ordered the Spanish latte (₩5,000), the Earl Grey milk tea (₩5,500) and a lemon cake~

After ordering, I spotted the list of coffee beans for sale, and the moment I saw they clearly know their beans too, my excitement for good coffee exploded +_+

After a short wait, here they came: the Spanish latte, the Earl Grey milk tea and the lemon cake dessert!

What does the Ieo Coffee Roasters Spanish latte taste like?
The Spanish latte (₩5,000) at Ieo Coffee Roasters Gongdeok comes with salted condensed milk, so it's nutty and sweet at the same time. One sip and my eyes popped open, it was that good. I'm honestly not a big latte person, but this nutty, sweet, rich flavor was insane!

It's a generous size too, but it was so good that I kept sipping without stopping lol It's a very nutty, smooth latte with a subtle sweetness on top, totally my style,,

Lately I've been going to different roastery cafés every weekend on a quest for great coffee, and for the reasonable price, this tastes so good I think it could hold its own against any roastery.

It's not big or flashy, but it's been a while since I met a place that shows what a real coffee spot is haha I think even people who know their coffee would agree!

I stirred it well before drinking and it was even nuttier and tastier,, Next time I'll definitely come back for an americano and the other signature drinks and coffees~

Homemade lemon cake, dense like a pound cake
The lemon cake at Ieo Coffee Roasters Gongdeok is a homemade dessert that feels like a dense lemon pound cake. And it was a satisfying one +_+ They make the desserts themselves too, so the owner must have golden hands,,

Not just the coffee but the desserts too are prepared by hand, one by one, and they taste great, so I'm already curious what's coming next at this café!

The lemon flavor and aroma aren't over the top; they blend nicely into the lightly sweet, dense pound cake, so I bet it'd be amazing with a latte, and with an iced americano too,, I enjoyed it so much haha

Earl Grey milk brewed in-house
The Earl Grey milk tea (₩5,500) at Ieo Coffee Roasters Gongdeok is a milk tea they brew in-house, and it was really smooth and refined! It isn't too sweet, with a subtle sweetness that makes you want more and more, kind of addictive.

Atmosphere and service at Ieo Coffee Roasters Gongdeok
Every signature item was so good that I want to come back for the other drinks too, haha. The atmosphere itself is calm and cozy, a perfect refuge for anyone tired of noisy franchise cafés!

The place filled up with customers and I got up to head to my next stop, and even with so many people, the staff treated everyone with the same kindness, which really impressed me about this café near the Forest Park haha I'll be back for more coffee~
