What is Camon Sunae Station like?
Camon Bundang Sunae Station Flagship (까몬 분당수내역직영점) is a pho restaurant near Sunae Station, open 11:00–21:00 (last order 20:40). I really recommend it for a Sunae Station lunch!!

I don't write pho reviews often, so there aren't many, but I've actually eaten a lot of pho, me?? haha. Camon is really clean, and if you're looking for a great Sunae Station lunch spot, I recommend it.. it's really good.
Inside Camon and the seating

The interior is mostly 4-person tables, with about three 2-person tables. When we visited on a weekday evening, about three tables were already taken, and lots of families come to eat here too.
What's on the Camon menu?

The main menu is of course pho, and they sell other Vietnamese dishes as side items. If it's your first visit, try the Vietnamese sides and get the feeling of having traveled to Vietnam while still in Korea!!
What we ordered at Camon and the prices
- Banh mi sandwich ₩9,000
- Spicy hangover pho ₩11,000
- Camon fried rice ₩13,000

You can get more side dishes near the entrance, and if you grab a lot of onions, they add a crunchy texture and make everything tastier. There are sauces on every table, but since we ordered the spicy hangover pho, we didn't try them!

The pho, sandwich and fried rice have all arrived, so I should review them right away, right? Memorize the banh mi, it'll be on the test. Question number 1 on recommending a delicious dish, haha
How does Camon's spicy hangover pho taste?

Camon's spicy hangover pho (₩11,000) comes packed with springy noodles in a fiery broth. The broth is refreshing with a spicy kick, and it really feels like it cures a hangover!!

There was more meat hidden inside than I expected, which I was happy about. Not just the meat, the pho itself is a big portion for a woman eating alone.

If you stir the sauce well, the spicy sauce that sank to the bottom rises up and the broth gets richer, so mix it well and the savory flavor doubles.

The spicy broth soaks into Camon's chewy noodles, and the fiery flavor is superb. The crunch of the pickled radish with the chewiness of the noodles is seriously addictive.

The broth is really rich, so if you press the meat down and eat it later, the savory flavor gets much stronger. And if you add the onions from the self-bar generously beforehand, it tastes even better.
Is Camon's banh mi sandwich a must-order?

If you visit Camon, I recommend you definitely try the banh mi sandwich (₩9,000)... It was my first time having one, and the portion is huge and the bread just melts in your mouth.

It comes cut in half for easy eating, and the scallion and crispy flake topping gives a huge kick in your mouth.

In the cross-section, there's egg under a ton of meat. It soaks into the bread, so it's baguette-but-not-baguette, a soft texture that vanishes in your mouth in a slurp.

If you can't decide what to eat at Camon, I strongly recommend the banh mi sandwich.
How should you eat Camon's fried rice?

The last dish is Camon fried rice (₩13,000). The key is the meat in the rice, which is slightly crispy, like it's been fried?

If you're getting the fried rice, please order the spicy hangover pho with it. You'll see the magic of fried rice going down endlessly with that fiery broth haha

So that's pho, a sandwich and fried rice at Camon near Sunae Station, and the banh mi was so delicious that I honestly was surprised..
