Why get a lash lift with ptosis (droopy eyelids)?
I have ptosis, and instead of mascara I keep up with regular lash lifts. This time I visited Belleyoon Ssangmun (벨르윤 쌍문점), a lash lift salon in the Suyu area that does everything as a no-glue lift. Because of the ptosis, people often tell me I look sleepy. I don't wear makeup much, and a bare face with mascara just feels awkward, so lash lifts are one of the things I keep doing.

What's the atmosphere like inside Belleyoon Ssangmun?
The whole place is decorated in white tones, so it felt clean the moment I walked in. There are personal lockers with passcodes, and the face-washing area is stocked with familiar, mainstream brand products, so everything was easy to use. It all felt well looked after, and I trusted the place even on a first visit.

How is a no-glue lash lift different from a regular lash lift?
Every treatment at Belleyoon Ssangmun is a no-glue lash lift. A regular lash lift often uses glue to fix the lashes onto the rod, while a no-glue lift uses no adhesive, so there's reportedly less stinging and irritation in the eyes.
My eyes are sensitive too, and it's miserable when they're uncomfortable during treatment, but there was clearly less irritation and it was much easier to sit through.

A private treatment space
The treatment space is split into a room where two people can be treated together and a private room for one. The equipment and small items inside were neatly organized, and everything was very tidy. Another customer arrived around the time I was finishing up, but since the treatment is done in a room, I could relax without any awkwardness.

Can they match the curl to protruding or uneven eyes?
Instead of just lifting everything as high as possible, the staff considered my eye shape, eyelid area and lash direction, and recommended a curl that looks natural on me. My eyes are slightly protruding, I have some fullness on the lid, and my left and right eyes are a bit uneven, so I'm a slightly tricky case for a lash lift, but they designed the curl to fit my eyes.
I could feel them taking care over each individual lash, even the ones that had fallen out in places and were growing back in. The treatment also felt a little faster than at other places, but not rushed or sloppy — it felt thorough, just as much as needed.

How different did ptosis eyes look after the lash lift?
After the no-glue lift, my lashes curled up naturally from the root, my pupils showed more, and my eyes looked much more defined. You barely notice a lash lift before you have one, but once you do, the difference really hits you.
With ptosis, my eyes used to feel heavy and sleepy-looking, but now they come alive even without mascara, so I look much neater even with a bare face, and I was very happy with it.

How long it lasts after a week, and overall verdict
It's been about a week since my treatment at Belleyoon Ssangmun, and the curl has settled in more naturally than at first, so the shape actually looks prettier now. It's holding steadily, the curl stays neat even after washing my face, and my morning routine is clearly shorter.
The salon is clean, the private rooms made it easy to relax, and the consultation was thorough and tailored to my eyes, so I trusted them. It's about 3 minutes from Ssangmun Station, so it's easy to reach, and I'd recommend it as worth a visit for anyone searching for a lash lift in Suyu or Ssangmun. I think it suits people who want naturally defined eyes, or a low-irritation treatment with a no-glue lift.
