What kind of bakery is Boulangerie Copain?

Boulangerie Copain is one of three bakeries I've been going to on and off for 10 years as a Mangwon resident. Ugly Bakery, Two Thumbs Up, and Boulangerie Copain!

I don't know exactly what he's famous for, but he's clearly someone impressive...

The shop is takeout only, and yes, it's a long way from Mangwon Station, but it's really good. The average is just high.

You absolutely have to add Boulangerie Copain to your Mangwon bakery crawl. (There's still no waiting line, so it's a gold mine.)

Which breads should you pick up at Boulangerie Copain?

Boulangerie Copain has a huge variety of breads, and I think the baguettes and sandwich loaves are the famous ones.

The value is pretty good here, so it's easy to toss in a bit of everything without worrying (?) about the bill.

Definitely get the basil crunch!!!! It's my all-time favorite bread, T_T They'll slice it for you too, so use that~!

From now on I'm going after 7 p.m.... hahaha

How do the basil crunch and choco baguette taste?

Basil crunch

• ✨It looks a bit odd because it was sliced, but it's originally huge
• ✨In a bread lover's life, I've never had a bread like this. One of a kind
• ✨Crackly and crunchy outside
• ✨Basil-scented cream cheese wafts through... deep flavor
• ✨No questions asked, just eat it

Valrhona choco baguette

• ✨Turns out this is the best-selling item? Apparently it's the tastiest
• ✨Generous portion, and the chocolate is moderately sweet
• ✨This is good chocolate, not the cheap stuff
• ✨Moist for a baguette

Earl Grey palmier

• ✨Subtle black tea aroma is charming
• ✨The pastry shatters, and the texture is the best
• ✨If you like sweets, you'll probably like it!
• ✨Ate some, then had the rest the next day, even tastier

It's summer, so watch out for the chocolate outdoors.... hahaha

Colby Jack sandwich

• ✨A sandwich that's nice to eat plain and mild
• ✨Surprisingly generously filled
• ✨Moderately salty cheese and ham
• ✨With a cup of Americano, brunch is done in no time

I ordered the Colby Jack sandwich without thinking much and it was so good. If you go to Boulangerie Copain, definitely get the sandwiches!!!
