In short
Keunsawi Ori Jip Bucheon Okgil Main Branch is a duck restaurant in Okgil-dong, Sosa-gu, Bucheon, right next to Bucheon Nambu Water Resources Eco Park. Where is Keunsawi Ori Jip Bucheon Okgil Main Branch, and is parking easy?
Keunsawi Ori Jip Bucheon Okgil Main Branch is a duck restaurant right next to the Bucheon Nambu Water Resources Eco Park in Okgil-dong, Bucheon. It sits in a standalone building with a very large private parking lot in front, so we could visit without any parking worries.
I found just the place for when you want proper duck in Bucheon. It is also well located for a meal after a park outing, or a stop at Starfield or IKEA. It works for family gatherings and group dinners too.

The interior is an open space with generously spaced tables, so we could eat comfortably, and every table is set with its own iron griddle, which gave it a clean feel.

Is Keunsawi Ori Jip good for a baby and a stroller?
When we arrived with a stroller, the staff guided us to a window seat. If you come with an infant or toddler, I recommend a window seat.
The baby happily watched everything outside. When the baby got fussy, we took the stroller outside for a walk, and the backyard is nicely decorated, so the baby loved it~

What comes in the 23,900-won Keunsawi Special Course?
What we ordered that day was the Keunsawi Special Course for ₩23,900. Duck dori-tang, perilla baeksuk, cypress-steamed duck, vegetable add-ons, rice cake add-ons and three-color fried rice are all in one course, which makes it really good value for the price.
The duck was truly tender, had no gamey smell and was so tasty. They say it is duck raised for 40 days in Naju, Jeollanam-do. Is it really okay to eat all this at this price..? It was that generous, and every dish was high quality. It is delicious and plentiful, so parents would love it~! The tables are fairly wide too, so it seemed great for family gatherings or events.
Self-serve gondre rice and dipping sauces
At Keunsawi Ori Jip you can help yourself to gondre rice (thistle rice) and white rice.

There were also sweet chili sauce and peanut sauce that go well with duck, plus napa cabbage geotjeori (fresh kimchi).

They use Sindongjin rice, and the rice tasted really good :)

The ingredients were good quality and very fresh. Duck, chicken, napa cabbage and rice are all domestic! You can feel how much care they put into the ingredients.
How do the perilla baeksuk and gondre rice taste?
In the Keunsawi Special Course, the perilla baeksuk (boiled duck soup with perilla seeds) came out first. It has a strong, nutty perilla aroma that mellows the richness of the duck. The broth is very deep, so it definitely felt like a restorative meal.

The duck was cooked tender too, so it was easy to eat.

The gondre rice had a lovely texture and aroma, and eaten with the baeksuk broth it was really good.

Does the cypress-steamed duck taste gamey?
The cypress-steamed duck (ori pyeongbaek-jjim) carries a faint cypress aroma, so you can enjoy it cleanly with no gamey smell at all. The moist, steamed meat was mild yet deep in flavor, and it was even better eaten with the vegetables.

Duck is known as a summer stamina food. It is rich in unsaturated fats and high in protein, so it is said to be good for reviving a body worn out by the heat. It felt like we ate exactly the right dish for the season.

Is the duck dori-tang too spicy or salty?
The duck dori-tang (spicy duck stew) had an impressively hearty, deep broth. It was clean with none of duck's usual smell, and the broth gets thicker as it reduces while boiling, so I kept on eating.

The seasoning was neither salty nor too spicy, so I never got tired of it and finished it all happily.

Finishing with add-ons and three-color fried rice
The vegetable and rice cake add-ons soak up the broth when put into the duck dori-tang, and the three-color fried rice fills you up at the end, so the Keunsawi Special Course had nothing missing from start to finish.

I was about to burst~ but the fried rice was tasty too, so I finished it all.

Omega-3 supplements handed out after the meal
There was omega-3 next to the table and I thought someone had left it behind, but the owner had set it out. They say it absorbs better when taken after a meal, so he put it out for us, haha. The owner was so kind and the food was good, so this is a Bucheon Okgil restaurant I want to go back to.
