Raon has a counter table (dacchi table), and the lighting and mood are just so pretty. The kitchen is open, so you can watch the cooking the whole time.

The highballs we ordered first came out first. Mo-what? We ordered a mojito and an Under the Sea highball, and the highballs are served so prettily too!

Raon is said to have a premium drink collection selected every month through tastings by members and experts together. The lineup covers every taste: the best-value wine in Ingye-dong, traditional Korean liquor, champagne for special days, handmade makgeolli (rice wine) and kaoliang (Chinese sorghum liquor).

There are also course meals with luxurious omakase-style plating, breaking out of the usual set-menu mold, which you can enjoy while looking at the night view and the lovely scenery of Hyowon Park. Bring your girlfriend here on her birthday and you'd totally get praised!

Raon Asian Dining Bar is a premium bar that allows pets, so you can visit with your beloved companion! There's a dog parking zone where dogs can rest safely and comfortably, and stylish jazz plays, which made it so good for a date.

How was the cumin-dusted gochujang yukhoe?

The yukhoe at Raon was gochujang yukhoe, and it tasted even better piled on the crispy chips that came with it. Maybe because they're so careful about cleanliness and hygiene, it was clean and the environment felt pleasant throughout our date. I was happy with the luxurious interior, and it was so tidy that we had a really nice evening date.

Interestingly, the yukhoe is sprinkled with cumin powder, and when I piled the cumin and yukhoe on a chip, it was so good! It goes well with highballs, and it was lovely for a quiet date. Ingye-dong is always so noisy, but here we could talk quietly with soft music, which I loved.

A handy second stop after a movie in Ingye-dong

Raon Asian Dining Bar is near Dongsuwon CGV, Gyeonggi Arts Center and Four Points by Sheraton Suwon, so access was good too. It's also close to Suwon City Hall Station, a place where you can wrap up a date course perfectly after a movie.

Wasabi on request and seat cushions: thoughtful service

I was craving wasabi, so I asked for some. They quickly brought a generous amount. Even the wasabi dish was pretty, haha!

There are even cushions in case your bottom hurts from sitting a long time. So thoughtful, Raon! The atmosphere was honestly so good that I want to visit again. It's really great for couples, and I absolutely recommend it.

Terrace and rooftop night views at Raon Asian Dining Bar

At Raon in Ingye-dong, the terrace and rooftop, Raon's special spaces, let you look down over the whole of Nahyeseok Street. I could relax with the wide-open view.

It's completely open, and I could see all of Nahyeseok Street at a glance. Photos turn out well here, and you can enjoy Suwon's night view in the cool breeze at this Ingye-dong dining bar! Thanks to Raon, we had a romantic time.
