I visited Que Sera in Jamsil on a really sunny day ~

Que Sera in Jamsil on a sunny day

Maybe it was the weather, but my mood lifted even before I stepped inside! The wood-toned look of the exterior won me over from the first impression.

What is Que Sera like inside? A terrace that shines on sunny days

The inside of Que Sera is done in calm brown wood tones. It's clean yet warm, so it's comfortable for a meal.

The space itself is on the small side, but thanks to the terrace it felt much bigger and more open than it really is. On a nice day, sitting by the open terrace and enjoying the sun over brunch would be wonderful. I thought it would suit anyone looking for a good brunch spot near Seokchon Lake.

Que Sera also offers whole-venue rental, I heard! It could work for a get-together with friends or a special occasion with a larger group.

Coffee, scones and egg tarts at Que Sera

On one side of the shop there were scones and egg tarts. It's a nice setup not just for a brunch meal but for a simple dessert and coffee!

So I thought it would be fine to skip the meal, have a coffee and chat leisurely. It could easily work as a casual café visit.

What's on the Que Sera brunch menu?

The Que Sera menu runs from sandwich-centered brunch dishes to pasta, coffee and wine. There was more variety than I expected.

With so many options, it's fine to come alone, but I think it's even better with a group, ordering a variety and sharing. You can keep it light with a sandwich and coffee, go hearty with pasta and salad, and add wine for a more atmospheric meal.

Freely choosing what you feel like eating depending on your mood and situation that day: that's apparently the meaning behind Que Sera. Maybe that's why the menu isn't tilted toward just one style.

Our order: shrimp oil pasta with avocado and a green smoothie

I wanted pasta today, so I ordered the following! The food came out after about 10 minutes of waiting.

  • Healthy shrimp oil pasta
  • Avocado add-on
  • Green smoothie

How does Que Sera's healthy shrimp oil pasta taste?

The healthy shrimp oil pasta at Que Sera has shrimp, avocado, arugula and tomato, so it tasted light yet fresh and well balanced. Ta-da! The moment it arrived I couldn't help thinking, "Wow... everything I love is in here?" haha

Shrimp, avocado, arugula! And tomato on top, so it's packed with my favorite ingredients. The colors were bright too, so it was pretty to photograph.

And most importantly, the taste! At the first bite, the ingredients really went well together. The clean, light flavor typical of oil pasta got the savory depth of the shrimp, and the avocado added a soft texture, so the balance was great. The arugula and tomato brought a fresh note here and there, so it never felt heavy. It was the kind of dish you keep reaching for.

Honestly, I don't usually like mushrooms that much, but this day I enjoyed even the mushrooms. Normally I'd have left a few, but this time I scraped the plate clean, haha.

Is Que Sera's kale green smoothie any good?

I was surprised that the Que Sera green smoothie, even with kale in it, tasted much better than I expected. When I heard kale was in it, I figured it would taste really healthy.

It has that healthy kale feel, but it isn't artificially sweetened or overdone, which I liked even more. It made me think, "You can make something this tasty with healthy ingredients!" Having it with the pasta even gave me the satisfaction of having eaten a properly healthy meal today.

A light, healthy pasta brunch in Jamsil

The day I had the healthy shrimp oil pasta at Que Sera, I felt relatively fresh afterward. Pasta is delicious, but sometimes it feels a bit heavy after you eat it, right? This time, maybe because I ate so many ingredients together, like shrimp, avocado, arugula and tomato, I didn't get that uncomfortable flour-heavy feeling.

I had pasta today, but since I ate a good mix of ingredients, I somehow feel like I'll gain a little less...? haha. It seems like a good place to visit on days when you want to eat a bit lighter and healthier without giving up tasty food.

Pretty flowers outside Que Sera

White flowers blooming by the entrance of Que Sera

On the way home after the meal, I took a photo of the flowers by the entrance of Que Sera. The white flowers swaying gently were so pretty! With the sunshine on top, it was the kind of scene that makes you want to take pictures.

I filled my stomach with delicious food, spent a relaxed time in a lovely space, and finished by seeing pretty flowers, so the whole day just felt nicer. 🤍

Craving a healthy brunch in Jamsil? Try Que Sera

Overall, Que Sera was a Jamsil brunch spot where you can enjoy both the atmosphere and the food. It's good for a light coffee and dessert, a hearty meal of sandwiches or pasta, or a group visit where you order a variety and share. The terrace in particular makes it even better on a nice day.

If you're looking for a brunch place with a good atmosphere around Seokchon Lake, or a clean, comfortable place to eat, it's worth a visit. For me, this visit was quite satisfying! If you're searching for a good restaurant near Seokchon Lake or a relaxed Jamsil brunch, you might want to keep Que Sera in mind :) On a sunny day, I'd love to go back for brunch on the outdoor terrace.
