Eight Years in Pangyo: brunch on a terrace with autumn leaves
Eight Years (EIGHT YEARS) Pangyo is a brunch restaurant in Pangyo where you can eat on a terrace with autumn foliage in view. This autumn weather is killer!! 🍂 On a day like this, with a clear sky and a cool breeze, it's the terrace, no question. Between the still-green trees, the leaves are starting to turn yellow and red, and just sitting there makes you happy.

Today I went to Eight Years, a Pangyo brunch spot that's just perfect for a pretty autumn day like this.

Tasty brunch, coffee, and all the autumn scenery I could take: it was a lovely lunch break. ♡
What are the indoor area and terrace at Eight Years Pangyo like?
Eight Years Pangyo is split into a bright, clean indoor area and a terrace on the green garden side. When we got to the building, the big EIGHT YEARS sign was the first thing we saw. Inside is a bright, tidy space, and outside the window you can see the green garden and the terrace. The inside is nice too, but with weather like today's, there was no need to even think: terrace!

The terrace seats at Eight Years are really, really good. Right in front of the table you see trees, flowers and a small walking path, and the leaves were already changing into their colorful autumn clothes. Warm sun, a gentle breeze~ neither hot nor cold, just perfect weather.

Good value too ♡

Coffee can be added as a set drink, and the menu also had a note about a ₩1,500 coffee discount. We ordered the chicken brunch plate and the chicken vegetable stew, plus an iced Americano and an iced café latte. Wow, the sky is so pretty too, autumn is the best!

Chicken brunch plate (₩16,500): what's on it and how it tastes
The chicken brunch plate at Eight Years is ₩16,500, and it comes on one plate with marinated chicken breast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, sautéed vegetables, salad and ciabatta bread. A chicken brunch served on a huge plate, looking so tempting! The lineup is really generous. The yellow scrambled eggs and fresh vegetables make the colors pretty, and photographed on the terrace it looked even more appetizing.

First bite: the warm chicken breast! Seasoned with herbs, it was mild but well flavored all the way through. It wasn't just dry, plain chicken breast; the more I chewed, the nuttier it tasted, which I liked. The scrambled eggs were golden, soft and moist. Eating them with the salty sausage was a great combination.

With protein, vegetables and bread all in one, it was a satisfying, filling brunch.
What does the chicken vegetable stew with baguette (₩9,500) taste like?
The chicken vegetable stew with baguette at Eight Years is ₩9,500: a stew with chicken and vegetables such as carrots, served with baguette bread. According to the menu description, the stew is simmered in the restaurant for over 4 hours. Honestly, with just the brunch plate I wanted something warm and brothy too. The broth wasn't harsh; it was mild, with a savory depth coming from the chicken and vegetables.

The chicken was tender and shredded along the grain, so it was easy to eat. What I especially liked was the combo with the baguette! Dip the baguette in the stew and the broth soaks in, making the bread even softer. Taking a bite of warm stew in the cool autumn breeze was a treat too. I was glad we ordered it together with the brunch plate.
A cup of coffee with the autumn leaves in view
Even after finishing our meal at Eight Years Pangyo, we didn't want to get up right away because of the terrace view. With weather this good, it would be a waste to miss a terrace seat like this. How pretty will it be once the leaves turn a bit more! I enjoyed autumn properly with a tasty brunch. 🍁♡

Among Pangyo brunch spots, I'd recommend Eight Years if you want that autumn terrace feeling.
