Ingye-dong Chinese restaurant: Hong Kong egg noodles at Gang's Duck
In short
Gang's Duck (갱스덕) is a newly opened Chinese restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon. On a booked visit for two, we ordered dongpo-yuk (braised pork belly, 32,000 won), Hong Kong-style egg noodles (11,000 won) and Peking duck fried rice (12,000 won) with extra cilantro, and Gang's Duck's yuja (citron) pickled radish and rooibos-like water also stood out. Gang's Duck has no parking lot, but a nearby public lot caps at 10,000 won a day, which makes it an easy pick for a date in Ingye-dong.

Gang's Duck exterior and interior
Gang's Duck is a Chinese restaurant!

The exterior is already oozing China vibes 🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳 It looks like they set up outdoor seating when the weather warms up. There's a space in front of the restaurant with chairs and tables stacked beside it, so I bet that's the plan 😚 I'm crazy about outdoor tables,,, I'm going once the weather gets nicer!!
The inside is tidy too, and it's decorated in a Chinese style, of course!
Booking at Gang's Duck: your name on the table
When you make a reservation at Gang's Duck, your name is displayed on the table 💓 It feels like being treated as a VIP, right?!!!! It just puts you in a good mood haha. And there were lots of other reserved guests too. I recommend booking before you come!

Gang's Duck menu and what we ordered
📋 The food menu. Gang's Duck has a lunch menu too, so it's nice for a simple lunch! There's a wide range of dishes, plus lots of fried rice and noodles, so it's easy to pick whatever you fancy 😝
Dongpo-yuk x1 / Hong Kong-style egg noodles x1 / Peking duck fried rice x1 / extra cilantro x1 / drink x1

Gang's Duck drinks menu: highballs, kaoliang and sake
📋 The drinks menu. Gang's Duck sells a really, truly huge range of alcohol!! Ugh~~ I'm still bitter that I couldn't drink 🥲🥲🥲 Next time I'm definitely coming in the evening for a glass!!! They have highballs, all kinds of soju, Iljum Jinro, and Hwayo too. And, this being a Chinese restaurant, a variety of kaoliang (Chinese sorghum liquor)~ and sake 🍶 They also have tonic water and lemon, so mixing whisky or Hwayo would be so good 🥹🥹🥹 Soft drinks are ₩3,000, which is a bit pricey, though!
The Gang's Duck character is so chill, isn't it. The ducks hanging on the fridge...... so cute.

We didn't order the Peking duck, but there's apparently a right way to eat it deliciously?? Since duck is the main thing here, maybe we should have ordered it,,,?!😑
The table setting at Gang's Duck is so cute too,, 🦆 And the water here is unusual!!! My guess is rooibos! I love this kind of thing!-!

How do Gang's Duck's dongpo-yuk, egg noodles and duck fried rice taste?
And then the food arrived 🤤🤤🤤 It looked so good that my expectations were sky-high 🤩🤩

✔️ Dongpo-yuk (₩32,000): so tender that you don't even need scissors, a spoon scoops it right up 🤤

✔️ Hong Kong-style egg noodles (₩11,000): This one!! So good!!! The seasoning was just right for my taste ☺️ Add cilantro and it's JMT (insanely delicious) 🧡

✔️ Peking duck fried rice (₩12,000): you can really chew the duck, which I loved! It looks super salty, but it's actually mild and tasty haha. And see the white bits? I think it's fried rice grains, and they make it feel like eating scorched rice (nurungji), so good!!!

Yuja (citron) pickled radish that cuts through the richness
And this one, this one, this little rascal!!! I think the pickled radish (danmuji) is cured in yuja (citron). It's tangy and delicious, and when things start feeling greasy you eat this, right?? And you start over haha 🤣🤣

So we cleaned our bowls,, 🤍 and left happy and full 😆 If you're looking for a meal or drinks in Ingye-dong, I recommend Gang's Duck 🤩🤩🤩
