I went to Mangwon Market for some summer fruit shopping and stopped by PICT Roastery Mangwon Branch for coffee and dessert haha
It's right next to Mangwon Market, so it's a great spot to duck into while browsing the market! I had the matcha Basque cheesecake with my coffee, and it was way better than I expected haha, so let me introduce it to anyone looking for a good dessert spot in Mangwon :)

PICT Roastery Mangwon Branch is right next to Mangwon Market, so it was easy to plan a route of browsing the market then heading over to the café! By the way, apparently PICT Roastery's main branch is in Magongnaru haha.
There's a full-length mirror set up in front of the store, so it's a good spot for a quick photo before going in haha. If it's your first time, you might wonder where the entrance is — just head in right next to the mirror!
Inside PICT Roastery Mangwon: atmosphere and seating
The interior is decorated neatly in wood tones and there were more seats than I expected!! There are tables good for groups and also seats that are comfortable for sitting alone. Overall it has a quiet vibe for spending time over coffee, so it was also good for a solo café visit haha.
Laptop work in Mangwon-dong: where are the outlets?
And what I liked about PICT Roastery Mangwon Branch was that the bar seats have outlets! When you bring a laptop to a café you end up hunting for seats with outlets first, and here every bar seat had one, so it was perfect for charging while working haha. If you're in Mangwon-dong looking for a café to study or work on your laptop, remember this spot!

How the decaf iced americano and matcha Basque cheesecake taste
I ordered the signature decaf iced americano (₩5,900) and the matcha Basque cheesecake (₩7,500)!
☕ Decaf iced americano (₩5,900) — The decaf americano was nutty and clean, and really tasty haha. Sipping it alongside the dessert made for a great pairing.
🍵 Matcha Basque cheesecake (₩7,500) — And the matcha Basque cheesecake here is seriously amazing. It's such a deep green color that I expected it to be really bitter, but the matcha flavor came through strongly without any bitterness or astringency, which was just right haha.
But the texture was the real standout! When you scoop it with a fork it comes away soft all the way through, and as soon as it's in your mouth it's packed with the richness of the cheese and the aroma of matcha, TT. If you like matcha desserts, you have to try PICT Roastery's matcha Basque cheesecake! I think even matcha beginners would enjoy it haha.

If you're looking for a good dessert spot or a café for laptop work near Mangwon Market, PICT Roastery Mangwon Branch is perfect! I also liked being able to choose my coffee beans, and the Basque cheesecake was so good haha.
With comfortable solo seating and outlets right there, I'll definitely come back when I want to work on my laptop or just spend some relaxed time in Mangwon-dong!
