Hongdae pork BBQ date night with dwitgogi: Chopilsal Pork Grill
Chopilsal Pork Grill Hongdae Branch is a pork barbecue restaurant on Donggyo-ro near Hongik University Station in Mapo, Seoul. For a weekend date dinner, two people ordered salted ogyeopsal (thick-cut pork belly) and jinjja-dwitgogi (mixed pork cuts), adding mu-saengchae daecheopbap (radish salad rice bowl) and double cheese egg custard; the thick ogyeopsal came out crisp outside and juicy inside, while each dwitgogi cut had its own texture. Not getting to the pork skin was the only regret in an otherwise filling order for two.
