Won-dong, Daejeon stay with a jacuzzi suite for two: Bouquet de Villa

Here is my detailed review of Bouquet de Villa, the stylish stay near Daejeon Station and Sungsimdang where I stayed on my Daejeon trip.

Where is Bouquet de Villa, and how far is it from Daejeon Station?

Bouquet de Villa (부케드빌라) is at 102 Chungmuro 203beon-gil, Dong-gu, Daejeon (Won-dong), a 10-minute walk from Exit 1 of Daejeon Station. It is also 5 minutes by car from both Daejeon Station and Sungsimdang, and parking is available for 1 car per room.

Being a 10-minute walk from Daejeon Station made access great, and the Sungsimdang main branch, a must-visit in Daejeon, is only 5 minutes away, so it was perfect for a Daejeon trip without a car.

I booked through Naver and chose Bouquet de Villa for my Daejeon stay after looking at the photo reviews on its Instagram.

Bouquet de Villa exterior and building atmosphere

From the outside, Bouquet de Villa has the feel of a European hotel, so I was already excited for the trip before I even arrived.

Bouquet de Villa opened this year, so the whole building was super clean and pleasant. With a jacuzzi and terrace, it gave me a real staycation feel during my Daejeon trip.

How does check-in work at Bouquet de Villa?

Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 11:00. At exactly check-in time I received the room passcode and could enter contactless, which was easy.

One thing I liked: besides the room passcode, they also gave me a separate passcode for the automatic door at the 1st-floor entrance, so the security felt thorough and I felt very safe.

What is in the 1st-floor self bar?

There is a self bar at the 1st-floor entrance where you can freely use the following:

• Coffee machine
• Microwave
• Ice maker
• Bottled water

It was hot summer weather and I needed ice often, so it was great that there was an ice maker in the building and I didn't have to buy cups of ice separately.

Can you leave luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Bouquet de Villa has storage lockers where you can leave your carrier contactless before check-in or after check-out, which was so convenient for travelers on foot.

With no luggage worries, I could leisurely explore Daejeon sights like Sungsimdang, Jungang Market and Heredium, and really enjoy the trip.

What is the A2 terrace suite at Bouquet de Villa like?

The room I booked is the A2 terrace suite.

The A2 room is a two-person suite with a terrace and an outdoor hot-water pool. The interior, with white decor and big windows, has a classic European mood, and the photos came out really pretty.

The A2 room has one queen-size bed, good for two people. The bedding was fluffy and clean, so I slept comfortably.

This is the A2 room bathroom. Both the sink and the shower area were kept clean, so I was happy using it.

What amenities are provided in the room?

The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion.

Toothbrushes, toothpaste, a hair dryer and towels are also provided.

There is even bottled water, a cutlery set, forks, a wine opener and plates.

A kettle, coffee machine, microwave and paper towels are there too. The basic amenities in the room are so well stocked that you can come empty-handed without any inconvenience.

Bouquet de Villa tea corner

Bouquet de Villa also has a cozy tea corner (다도 공간) for taking a break. With a small floor-seating table and a tea set, it was lovely for relaxing over a cup of tea, and they even provided Osulloc tea bags, so I could ease my travel fatigue with fragrant tea :)

Does the room have a beam projector instead of a TV?

The rooms at Bouquet de Villa have a beam projector instead of a TV, so you can enjoy a movie-theater mood in your room. Netflix is free to watch too, so it was nice to relax with a favorite movie.

Can you use the A2 room terrace on rainy days?

The outdoor terrace connected to the A2 room was really pretty too. There is an awning overhead, so you can enjoy it atmospherically even on rainy days, and it was a perfect spot to rest with a coffee.

Time in the Bouquet de Villa jacuzzi

One of the biggest reasons I chose Bouquet de Villa was the pretty jacuzzi. It gave me a staycation feel in the middle of Daejeon, and it was so good for washing away the day's fatigue while traveling.

On the last day of my Daejeon trip, filling the jacuzzi with warm water and relaxing was truly happy time. The photos came out so moody and pretty, so I'd recommend it for a couple's trip or newlyweds too :)

Bouquet de Villa is close to Daejeon sights like Daejeon Station, Sungsimdang, Jungang Market and Heredium, so it was great for a trip on foot, and thanks to the pretty interior and quiet, cozy mood I could really rest, which made me very satisfied.
