Gapposo near Gasan Digital Complex Station
I visited Gapposo near Exit 8 of Gasan Digital Complex Station!! It’s on the first floor of Terra Tower, and it looked so pretty and atmospheric before I even went in that I was already halfway sold, haha. If you’re looking for a sushi place in Gasan Digital Complex, this felt like the one.

From the entrance, with its wooden arch and lattice door, it has Japanese vibes for real. The business-hours sign is right at the entrance too, so take note! It’s in the indoor shopping arcade on the first floor of the building, making it easy to visit even on a rainy day.

Spacious tables and group seating

The interior is so pretty... It’s spacious inside, and the tables are wide, so you can eat comfortably without worrying about the people next to you. There are marble tables by the windows and wooden tables farther in, each with a slightly different feel, so it’s fun just looking around. The lighting is soft too, and I think the atmosphere would be even better in the evening.

There was also a long table set for a reservation, and it looked like a company dinner group had come in, hehe. A sushi work dinner—so jealous... Our company too, please... There’s separate group seating, so it looks great when you’re searching for a gathering spot as well.
Gapposo menu and our order
Here’s the menu, and there are seriously so many options. It’s packed with everything from sushi and rice bowls to nabe (Japanese hot pot) and sides. There are drinking snacks and different nabe options too, so it would be nice to come for a glass of sake in the evening.

We ordered assorted sushi (Gapposo Sushi) and the freshwater eel rice bowl. ₩48,000 for the two together! Also, when you order, black sesame porridge comes out first, which is a nice touch that lets you enjoy it like a mini course meal.
Freshwater eel rice bowl that isn’t too salty

The cat chopstick rest is so cute, haha. I’m a total softie for details like this.

The freshwater eel rice bowl came out first! It arrives in a bento-box-like container and looks so neatly presented. The eel was laid on thick, and the sauce was perfectly good without being salty. The rice had soaked up the sauce too, so I scraped up every last grain.

There were pieces of rolled egg tucked between the rice too, which made it fun to eat with that soft texture. The kind of flavor that makes you happy with every bite... Such a deep flavor that makes you go, ah, this is freshwater eel! Add shredded ginger and wasabi, and there’s no richness left to weigh it down.
Assorted sushi with thick toppings

The assorted sushi came spread across a plate like this! With flounder, salmon, tuna, shrimp, uni (sea urchin), and eel, it’s a satisfying selection that’s fun to pick through. The shari (sushi rice) isn’t small, and the neta (fish topping) is thick, so each piece is pretty filling. The wasabi also felt like fresh wasabi, with a mild aroma that didn’t sting my nose, haha.

My favorite was the fatty tuna topped with caviar... It melted as soon as it hit my mouth, and disappeared in a flash. All the sushi was fresh, so I officially approve it as a great sushi spot in Gasan Digital Complex! The shrimp, crab meat, and uni were all delicious one by one, so my chopsticks never got a break, haha.
The atmosphere is lovely and the food is great, making it perfect for a date or work dinner, and I highly recommend it for an office-worker lunch too! I think I’ll come back whenever I crave sushi in Gasan Digital Complex. Just note that it’s closed on Sundays—and next time, I need to try the lunch omakase!
