I'd wanted to visit Daily Fix for ages .ᐟ.ᐟ.ᐟ.ᐟ It's the place food genius Kang Min-kyung recommended, so I'd just bookmarked it, telling myself I'd get there someday. It also showed up on Tzuyang's YouTube channel, so my expectations were sky high by the time I actually went.ᐟ.ᐟ

The yellow sign with big BURGER lettering catches your eye from a distance. It's 161m from Exit 2 of Seoul National University Entrance Station, about a 2-minute walk ᵔ◡ᵔ Right at the entrance of Sharosu-gil, so it was easy to find. Apparently there's a wait at lunchtime, but I went late in the evening and got seated right away.

Daily Fix menu and burger prices

You can order from the table kiosk! Burgers come in classic, cheese, double cheese, bacon cheese, and truffle mushroom, among others. Prices are ₩11,900 for the classic burger and ₩12,900 for the bacon cheese burger. Ordering as a set gets you fries and a drink, so we went with sets! There are also onion rings and fried eggplant as sides — I just took photos of those for next time.

Inside Daily Fix: seats for solo diners and groups

The interior was much cleaner than I expected. The yellow sofas paired with wood-tone tables gave it a warm vibe 𓂃꙳⋆ There are seats good for solo dining and separate seating for larger groups, so it'd work well for a hangout with friends too. Tables were spaced generously, so there was no cramped feeling throughout the meal ⭒˙｡

Ordering the bacon cheeseburger and classic burger sets

Between the two of us, we ordered one bacon cheeseburger and one classic burger, both as sets. The classic burger came out first. The bun was so shiny it looked delicious the moment it arrived!! The cheese was melted too, which got my mouth watering, and the lettuce looked perfectly fresh.

How juicy is the bacon cheeseburger?

The fries were exactly my kind of thing. As for the bacon cheeseburger, the bacon's juices burst out with every bite, which was satisfying each time. The salty bacon and cheese hit together, and it never got greasy — I just kept eating.

The classic burger: simple done well

The classic burger is a familiar taste, but a genuinely good one.. The patty was evenly cooked, and the tomato and lettuce struck a nice balance in between.

It was a truly delicious meal.

If you're looking for a good restaurant near Seoul National University Entrance, I'd recommend giving Daily Fix a try. I went in with high expectations built up over time, and it delivered just as much as I'd hoped, which made me really happy. Next time I want to try the truffle mushroom burger. Each burger is in the ₩10,000s, so it wasn't a heavy price for a handmade burger, and it was such a satisfying evening eating such a carefully made burger.
