Gwangalli sashimi bar: live octopus & eel, no fishy taste, Gwanganda
In short
Gwanganda Jjji Gwangalli Main Branch is a sashimi restaurant with Gwangan Bridge views on the 6th floor of Sanbada Hoe Town in Gwangalli, Suyeong, Busan. The writer, who can't stand fishy raw fish, returned with a party of 3. They had the pre-sashimi side spread, live octopus, eel, the main assorted sashimi platter and abalone porridge for dessert, and found the abalone, octopus, sashimi and clams all fresh with no fishy taste. With free parking on the 1st floor and friendly service, Gwanganda Jjji is a Gwangalli sashimi restaurant worth taking your parents to.

When I was planning a trip to Busan not long ago, it was summer, so I figured I had to eat some raw fish while I was there~! Lots of people are heading to Busan right now, and most of us want to see the sea and eat fresh seafood, right? haha! If that's you, please read this post to the end >.<
This is a restaurant my parents loved too! If you're looking for a sashimi place to take your parents, I recommend Gwanganda Jjji (광안다찌) in Gwangalli :) Besides the sponsorship, I even paid some extra myself to visit, which tells you how much I liked it. It's a restaurant I came back to~~!😊
Where do you park at Gwanganda Jjji?
You can park for free in the 1st-floor lot of the building, and there's also a big public parking lot right next door, so parking is really easy! Parking is hard in Gwangalli, so a sashimi restaurant where you can just pull in is a huge plus hahaha. After parking, take the elevator straight up to the 6th floor^^

Rooms and Gwangandaegyo Bridge view seats at Gwanganda Jjji
Gwanganda Jjji also has rooms, so it felt like a good place for group gatherings :) And the staff are so friendly every time I visit, which puts me in a good mood💕

Ahh,,... this is it..🫢🫢🫢 Gwangalli is a must on any Busan trip, right? You get the cool sea view by day and a beautiful night view in the evening, so it's pretty both day and night. The windows here are floor-to-ceiling, so you could see Gwangandaegyo Bridge well from wherever you sat~~!
The utensils come in a disposable cutlery package too, which looked neat and nice haha. It felt like a good place to bring parents or guests!

And they even list exactly which items you can get refills of..❤️ It's such a kind restaurant, and I really like it^^

Aren't the plates adorable already? The dishes are so cute and pretty, aren't they? It felt like a great place to bring guests too💕
Is the Gwanganda Jjji spread really generous?

One reason I'm happy with Gwanganda Jjji is that the spread is really generous hahaha. Before the sashimi even arrives, they bring out all kinds of dishes one after another. Many people worry about tourist-trap pricing, and I always do when I travel, but every time I've come here the portions were huge and the side dishes were all delicious ><

From the sam (쌈, leaf wraps) to the hoemuchim (회무침, spicy sashimi salad).. everything is delicious. The portions are plentiful too, and everyone I went with ate until they were full🫢

Even eel!! This is a course where you can really restore your energy hahaha

The table gets filled to the brim, and the staff were all friendly and explained the food well^^

Live octopus comes with the spread too
Live octopus (sannakji) has always been one of those expensive dishes you can't really fill up on, but at Gwanganda Jjji it comes as part of the spread, so I could enjoy a really big portion and it was delicious^^

The seafood was super fresh and all delicious, so I enjoyed it happily from start to finish ><

Is the sashimi at Gwanganda Jjji okay for people who can't eat fishy raw fish?
The abalone, octopus, sashimi, clams and the rest at Gwanganda Jjji were all fresh and not fishy at all, which made me even happier!!! For me, someone who truly can't eat fishy raw fish, this place was extremely satisfying haha

This was really delicious too^^

The spread before the main is amazing, right? hahaha And now, finally, the main is coming out >.<
The main sashimi platter for 3 people at Gwanganda Jjji
This is the main sashimi! We were 3 people, and isn't the plate so pretty?

It felt like being served a whole table of the sea..💕

Looks, fun, taste and friendliness: this Gwangalli sashimi restaurant satisfied me on every count 🫢

Dessert at Gwanganda Jjji and who it suits
Gwanganda Jjji even serves abalone porridge (jeonbokjuk) for dessert..💕 Every part of the menu satisfied me, so I recommend it for a family meal or a get-together, and also for a date with your partner :)
