Charcoal cleansing balm for dehydrated oily skin: HEEDA
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a cleansing balm I tried for dehydrated oily skin with texture, breakouts, sebum, and blackhead concerns. I found its balm-to-oil and emulsifying routine easy, and my skin felt less tight after washing.

My skin is dehydrated but gets oily, with texture and breakouts, so I had been thinking about how to cleanse it. I was also concerned about texture that makes makeup sit unevenly and blackheads in summer.

How did it feel on dehydrated oily skin?

As I massaged it, the balm texture turned into an oil, and when I added water, it emulsified into a milk-like texture. It felt more moisturizing than the cleansing products I had used before, and my skin felt less tight after washing.

How did I use it?

- After washing my hands, I scooped out an appropriate amount onto dry hands.
- I gently massaged my face.
- I added water to emulsify it, then rinsed it off with water.
- I finished lightly with cleansing foam.

How was it for sebum and blackhead concerns?

Because it is a sebum emulsifier, I felt it would be good to use when blackheads are a concern in summer. I thought it could suit dehydrated oily skin looking for a cleansing product that also considers moisture.

Which ingredients were introduced?

The product description mentioned naturally derived ingredients including charcoal, white rice flower, rice bran, green tea, camellia oil, plum blossom, peony, mugwort, houttuynia cordata, jojoba, and olive. However, effects from ingredients can vary depending on each person's skin condition.
