Cleansing balm for sensitive skin: HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal

How did it feel on sensitive-feeling skin?

After visiting a water park, my face felt hot, and even the foam cleanser I normally use felt stingy. My skin is usually sensitive, so products that do not suit me tend to make it feel uncomfortable, but this cleansing balm felt comfortable on my skin while I used it.

What are the texture and scent like?

The product is a black cream type. It was not overly stiff, and it felt as though it gently melted when applied to the skin. Scrub products with grains tend to make my skin turn red, but this one had a cream-like melting texture, so it felt less irritating during use.

I could barely detect any scent. I felt that even people sensitive to fragrance could use it without much burden.

How did I use it?

• I spread it evenly over dry skin.
• I massaged areas where blackheads and pores concerned me in circular motions.
• On areas with heavier makeup, I massaged once more, added a little water to emulsify it, then rinsed with lukewarm water.

I used the separately provided spatula to scoop out an appropriate amount. Afterward, the spatula could be secured on top of the container, which was convenient because I would not have to store it separately and risk losing it.

How did my skin feel after cleansing?

After rinsing with lukewarm water, my skin felt refreshed without needing to use an additional foam cleanser. I felt that my skin tone looked brighter than before after use, and I liked it enough that I wanted to keep using it and repurchase it.
