A Sinyongsan dinner spot on our 2-day Yongsan trip
Bass Burger Sinyongsan is the craft burger place I picked for dinner the day I spent a 2-night, 2-day trip in Yongsan, Seoul, with a friend. It's a short walk from our hotel, Ibis Yongsan, so it was an easy trip.

For dinner we didn't want to go far. We just wanted good food and a cold beer. While trying to decide what to eat, we found Bass Burger Sinyongsan. Afterwards we could stroll back through Yongsan's evening streets, which made it even better.
What's the atmosphere at Bass Burger Sinyongsan like?
From the outside, Bass Burger Sinyongsan reminded me of a casual American burger joint. Red brick walls plus neon signs for craft burgers, chicken, fries and beer caught my eye from far away.

Inside it was vintage and cozy too. Brick walls, warm lighting, wooden tables and black leather chairs came together for a comfortable yet stylish feel.

The chips and all kinds of sauces are set out at a self-serve bar, so you can take as many as you like, which made it really easy to use. I was very happy that they give you chips without limit, haha. Bass Burger felt like a great place for a relaxed chat with a friend, or for a casual beer on Yongridan-gil (Yongridan-gil is the nickname of this trendy Yongsan street).
Bass Burger's menu and what we ordered

Bass Burger centers on a variety of craft burgers, with sides like chicken, fries and cheese sticks, plus beer. This is what we ordered that day.
- 🍔 Double Bass Burger
- 🧀 Chili mozzarella cheese sticks
- 🍺 Bass draft beer
Add Bass Burger's signature chips and we had quite a hearty dinner spread.
Double Bass Burger: butter-scented soft bun and thick patties

The main dish that day was the Double Bass Burger. Two beef patties, savory cheese and fresh lettuce were packed between golden-toasted buns, and it looked delicious right away.

Most impressive of all was the soft, butter-scented bun. One bite and the fluffy, moist bread just melts as you chew, and that subtle buttery aroma was so good.

With the juicy patties and melted cheese, the richness went up another level. The crisp lettuce balanced the texture, and even with thick patties the bun was so soft that it never felt heavy, so I could enjoy it happily.

If you're hunting for a craft burger place on Yongridan-gil, I really want to recommend the Double Bass Burger, with its soft butter-scented bun and rich meaty flavor.
Chili mozzarella cheese sticks and Bass draft beer

The chili mozzarella cheese sticks we ordered as a side at Bass Burger Sinyongsan were impressive too.

Unlike ordinary long cheese sticks, these were wide and rectangular, with a golden fried surface that looked crunchy.

Savory mozzarella with a hint of chili flavor made them a great match for a craft burger.

And of course, the cold Bass draft beer! The golden beer came in a special glass with the brand logo, and it went well with the burger. Clinking glasses with my friend made the trip even more fun.
Bass Burger's special charm: unlimited chips
My favorite thing about Bass Burger Sinyongsan was the unlimited chip refills. You can help yourself to as much as you want, which was just great.

If you're looking for a craft burger spot in Yongsan, definitely keep this chip service in mind!

From the Double Bass Burger with its thick patties to the chili mozzarella cheese sticks and cold draft beer, the lineup satisfied us.
