Yeonsan-dong Italian date spot for abalone risotto: Molto Italiano

Molto Italiano is a newly opened Italian restaurant near Busan City Hall in Yeonje-gu, Busan. It serves a variety of pasta, risotto and steak, and I went for a date 🇮🇹

Where is Molto Italiano, and is there parking?

Molto Italiano is on the 2nd floor of the Sangga-dong building on Jungang-daero 1043beon-gil in Yeonje-gu, and parking was available~ It's a brand-new restaurant with a great date-night mood, and they helped us with parking too!

Even though it was a weekend, the tables were pretty much full~ Definitely a hot spot, ding ding 💕💕💕

How to order and the restaurant's atmosphere

You order on a tablet kiosk at the table~ It was easy and convenient. The area around Yeonsan-dong and Busan City Hall has lots of old-school local eateries, so the plus here is getting high-quality Western food nearby~

Pickle and nacho chip self-bar

Molto Italiano has a self-bar! You can freely help yourself to pickles and nacho chips, so it was handy throughout the meal 💛 Nachos as an appetizer and a dessert, haha~

What does the abalone oil risotto taste like?

Molto's abalone oil risotto had a subtle abalone flavor and a nutty richness, and I loved that it was a taste I'd never had before! It felt a bit like aglio e olio pasta turned into risotto🌕 Korean chili peppers (ttaengcho) are in it, so it had a nice spicy kick too!

The butter-grilled abalone on top is the kicker,,!! The abalone was so chewy and delicious that I wanted to order extra grilled abalone. The gamtae (seaweed) is quite salty, so I'd recommend not mixing it all in at once, and adding a little at a time to taste!

Is the spicy rosé pasta very hot?

Molto's spicy rosé pasta has just the right amount of heat, so it isn't heavy and I enjoyed it to the last bite! 🍅🍅 The zucchini and mushroom toppings go so well with the rosé sauce. Tomato and cream flavor plus a spicy kick, good! 🧀🧀

I usually like rosé, and this tasted like rosé with a bit of Buldak (fiery Korean chicken) and chili pepper added. With broccoli, mushroom and zucchini toppings eaten together with the rosé sauce, it was so good~

Abalone oil risotto plus spicy rosé pasta, a successful combo order 💫 The tableware was also so cute and adorable that it was fun just to look at!

If you're looking for a nice-atmosphere Italian restaurant or date spot near Busan City Hall, I think I can recommend Molto Italiano! The portions are big and the prices are kind~

Next time I want to try the pizza, salad and steak too! I'd come back~~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The grapefruit salad and wood-fired pizza looked so good too
