I was walking around Seokchon Lake not long ago when I spotted a brunch café with a lovely atmosphere, so I stopped in. It's Que Sera (쾌세라) in Jamsil. It's a great date-course stop by Seokchon Lake, and since it's dog-friendly, it's also good for visiting with your dog. After going myself, I felt it's not just a place with nice vibes but a brunch spot where the food is really well done.

Is Que Sera a good date spot near Seokchon Lake?
Que Sera is a Jamsil brunch café that's great for brunch after a walk around Seokchon Lake, and its outdoor terrace is especially pretty. There are so many cafés and restaurants near Seokchon Lake, but you know how it goes: some places have the atmosphere and then disappoint on the food.

Que Sera, though, felt relaxed from the moment I walked in.

The outdoor terrace was just so pretty. On a nice day, I thought it would be a perfect place for brunch after a Seokchon Lake walk.

It's good for a couple,

and the mood was also right for chatting with friends.

Is Que Sera dog-friendly?
Yes, Que Sera in Jamsil is a brunch spot that welcomes dogs. A lot of people look for cafés they can go to with their dogs these days, and being dog-friendly made this place even more appealing. If you're looking for a dog-friendly café in Jamsil, it's worth remembering. A walk around Seokchon Lake followed by brunch with your dog is a really good course.

Que Sera menu and what stands out
Here's the Que Sera menu.

Sandwiches on natural-leaven bread
One of Que Sera's special points is that it uses natural leaven bread (천연발효종 빵, sourdough-style).

Maybe that's why the sandwich menu felt much more carefully made than at an ordinary brunch café. I go to brunch cafés a lot, and places with good bread definitely leave me more satisfied.

Customizable brunch plates at Que Sera
Personally, the best thing about Que Sera was that you can customize the menu. You can add the ingredients you want or combine them to your taste, so you get your own brunch. Lots of people prefer healthy eating these days, and tastes in ingredients vary, right? I was impressed that they took that into account.
Drinks and wine at Que Sera
The drink menu is varied, and there's both bottled wine and house wine.

Sipping water while waiting for the food. It's such a relaxed atmosphere.

Checking out the wine too, haha

The food came out faster than I expected.

Checking out the desserts

There really are so many kinds.

How is Que Sera's Healthy Shrimp Oil Pasta with added avocado?
What I ordered at Que Sera was the Healthy Shrimp Oil Pasta, and I added avocado and ordered white wine too.

To get straight to the point, it was a really satisfying combination. First, the shrimp were much plumper than I expected. Freshness of ingredients matters in an oil pasta, and the shrimp were in great shape, so the texture was excellent. The avocado I added was really fresh too. The vegetables were crisp as well, so overall it felt like eating a healthy meal.

I personally pay close attention to the condition of the vegetables at brunch cafés, and Que Sera satisfied me there.
Pairing shrimp oil pasta with white wine
The white wine I ordered with the Healthy Shrimp Oil Pasta was good too. The distinctive flavor of the oil pasta and the crispness of white wine go well together. Eating it with the plump shrimp especially made the pairing really good. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants the relaxed treat of a glass of wine with daytime brunch. The house wine also came in a small bottle, which I liked! The aroma stayed intact, which was nice.

A Jamsil brunch restaurant with well-made food
What struck me most during my visit to Que Sera was how well made the food is. Brunch cafés often focus on atmosphere, but from pasta to sandwiches, Que Sera felt like it cared about every single dish. So I can recommend it as a proper Jamsil restaurant, not just a pretty café.

Can you book Que Sera for groups or private hire?
I hear Que Sera can be booked out entirely. The space itself is big and has a nice atmosphere, so it looked fine for group gatherings or events.

It seems like a good option for anyone planning a bridal shower, birthday party or small event. The mood is so relaxed and sentimental that it suits a special gathering well.
