Walking through the market, there's one spot where people line up noticeably longer than everywhere else — Danppang Bakery, famous for Danyang garlic bread. Out of all the food stalls in the market, this one had the longest line by far haha. I got curious and stood in line myself, and yep, there was a reason so many people were waiting.

Danppang Bakery is straight ahead once you enter through the market entrance and pass the black garlic salt bread shop — it's right across from the black garlic nurungji chicken stall. Since there's always a line out front, it's not hard to find.

Watching them work so fast and precisely, almost like machines, made the bread look extra professional and got me even more excited to try it haha.

How to portion and freeze leftover garlic bread

The gift set has more bread than you can eat in one sitting, so I portioned the rest and put it in the freezer. Apparently if you reheat it in an air fryer later, it tastes almost as good as freshly made. So if you love it, don't worry about buying a lot!
