Yard sits along the main road in Gyeongju's Bomun-danji, right across from Gyeongju World. It's a brunch café that's well loved for its brunch menu.

How long do the yellow cosmos in front of Yard last?

The yellow cosmos field right in front of Yard was in full bloom, and honestly the yellow and orange blooms looked so pretty. Having a coffee at the café and then flower-gazing and taking photos on the way out was such a nice combo!

The cosmos should stick around until about October 15! Definitely worth a visit if you're doing a fall trip to Gyeongju.

What was in Yard's cake and bread showcase?

This Bomun-danji brunch café has quite a lot of cake varieties.

There was also fresh fruit — lemon, grapefruit, tomato. The fruit looked super fresh too, haha!

For bread, three kinds were left: croissant, custard pretzel, and chocolate pretzel.

Since it's a brunch café, there were pickles too, and the self-serve bar was kept neat and tidy.

Can you still order Yard's brunch at noon?

We visited around noon, and the brunch menu was temporarily sold out. Makes you wonder how many customers came through in the morning. So we ordered two iced Americanos and one iced vanilla cube latte instead!

Seating on Yard's first and second floors

This is the first floor! On one side there are flowers right there, and on the other side facing the main road there's a tree right outside the window — really nice.

We decided to have our coffee on the second floor. My boyfriend waited for the drinks while I went up first to grab a table, haha.

Upstairs there was a huge window that was open, and it felt so nice and breezy. Outside the window you could see green mountains and trees, and right below, cosmos fields dyed yellow everywhere! Sitting by this window is the perfect healing spot to look out at the cosmos and mountain scenery.

We took a seat facing the main road, and there were these sofa-like chairs you could actually lie down on — so nice. Big trees visible through the window too, and the whole vibe was just really good.

How Yard's iced Americano and vanilla cube latte tasted

Our iced Americano and vanilla cube latte arrived! They gave us so much milk that my boyfriend was literally shaking carrying it over lolllll. He carried it carefully but still spilled a tiny bit lol.

Coffee-bean-shaped espresso ice cubes! And they gave the vanilla syrup on the side too, good good! Nice that you can add as much as you like to your taste.

My boyfriend's iced Americano — Yard is honestly a great coffee spot. The Americano was genuinely delicious, nutty and rich, totally my style.

My order, the vanilla cube latte! I was craving something sweet-ish coffee.

They poured the milk in ~! But honestly the coffee was so good even without the syrup. Just as a regular latte it was really nutty and delicious. Must be using really good beans?

Lying down and totally relaxing, hahaha. The weather was cool, and just lying there comfortably felt like proper rest. We'd both woken up at 6am and were exhausted, so this break really recharged our energy.

Before heading home, we went to see the cosmos one more time and took a few more photos. But there were a few bees around, so be careful!
