Sajik-dong café to beat the summer heat solo: hazelnut latte, CORR

I was in Sajik-dong for the first time in a while, so I revisited CORR, a café I'd been to once before! I needed a cold coffee transfusion, haha.

CORR in Sajik-dong adds bingsu and watermelon juice for summer

CORR, a dessert café in Sajik-dong, Busan, is famous for its wide range of financiers (small French almond butter cakes), and for the summer season it also has bingsu (shaved ice) and cold watermelon juice. Bingsu or watermelon juice on a hot day is the best, right?

CORR sells all kinds of drinks: coffee, ade, tea, lattes and homemade fruit syrups. I wondered what to get, then decided on something sweet for the first time in a while. I've been into americanos lately, but it was so hot that I felt my sugar crashing, so I ordered one cold hazelnut latte!

There's a kiosk, so you can order with that! And if you post a Naver receipt photo review, you get an americano!

They even offer financier tastings, which I thought was neat, and they sell dujjonkku (the Dubai-style chewy cookie) too. I haven't seen dujjonkku in ages! There was also butter rusk made from sliced bread.

There were really, really many kinds of financiers! I wanted to try the cheddar cheese financier, but it was sold out... so I ordered the butter rusk instead, hahaha.

The sign says the financier is an almond butter cake that originated in France! How interesting. I've eaten financiers so many times and never knew it came from an almond butter cake, haha.

Smell the teas before you choose at CORR

CORR seems serious about tea too. Look at all these different teas, haha. They let you smell them before choosing, which I liked.

Sitting there in the cool air, I loved the lush green view through the big window. Outside it's "I'm going to die of heat," but watching the view from somewhere cool is lovely, haha.

How does CORR's hazelnut latte taste? Nutty, not too sweet

My hazelnut latte came out. I liked that it wasn't too sweet, and the coffee itself was the nutty type, so it was really good. You do need a sweet treat now and then! They have a signature CORR latte too, so I want to try that next time. I bet it's good, right??

CORR's butter rusk: crisp and buttery

The butter rusk was impressively crunchy. It had a buttery softness too, and a little sweetness, so it's a great snack or dessert. Pulling one out now and then to nibble is perfect. Such a good butter rusk!! Recommended!! A Sajik-dong dessert café with great coffee, CORR!

CORR, a handy café stop before Sajik Baseball Stadium

CORR, a Sajik-dong dessert café in Busan, was great for relaxing quietly alone! It's close to the baseball stadium too, so you could rest, have a coffee and a dessert before the game! Next time I'm going for the cheddar cheese financier, haha.
