How to get to Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch

Hi, it's Sunny! 😊 Today I'm introducing a spot near Seolleung Station, right in the middle of Teheran-ro, where you can enjoy authentic Chinese barbecue in a calm, exotic atmosphere. It's 'Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch' (미림양장 선릉점), which keeps getting recommended for group dinners and gatherings thanks to its quiet mood and high-quality Peking duck!

I tried half a traditional Peking duck, roasted with at least 30 hours of care, and stir-fried pig ear with bean sprouts, where crunchy and chewy come together beautifully. I was totally happy with both the food and the vibe, so let me share the full, honest review. ✨
Inside Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch: atmosphere and private rooms

The restaurant is on basement level 1 of a busy side street near Seolleung Station (Line 2 and Suin-Bundang Line), so it's super easy to reach. 🏢 Step inside and you'll find a luxurious, moody space with calm lighting and stylish decorative objects. 👀

This isn't just an ordinary restaurant with hall seating. It's perfectly set up for private gatherings, company dinners and big group meetups, a real private-room restaurant near Seolleung Station!

There are cozy, quiet private rooms, so you can focus on your conversation without any noise around you.

The hall and rooms are set up to hold large groups, so if you're looking for a classy group restaurant or bar near Seolleung Station, this is the first place I'd recommend.

It's a short walk from Seolleung Station, so I strongly recommend public transport, if only so you can relax and enjoy a drink. 🚗
Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch menu and prices

Once seated, I checked the smart QR code on the table. It shows Mirim Yangjang's signature barbecue, Peking duck (Beijing duck), along with a wide lineup of Chinese dishes and dim sum. 📖

To really experience the house specialty, I ordered half a Peking duck (₩39,000) and the stir-fried pig ear with bean sprouts, a unique dish with a great reputation as drinking food. Apparently each duck takes at least 30 hours from drying to roasting. Knowing all that care went into it made the wait even more exciting. 😋
How do the half Peking duck and stir-fried pig ear taste?

Ordered: half Peking duck + stir-fried pig ear with bean sprouts

Soon, on a neat Chinese-patterned plate, came the gorgeously crisp half duck and the steaming stir-fried pig ear with bean sprouts! 😍

The deep barbecue aroma hit my nose the moment I saw it, and my mouth started watering. I started with the Peking duck (Beijing duck), the one I was most excited about!

Maybe thanks to those 30-plus hours of drying and roasting, the skin shattered like a cracker, crackle! while the meat inside stayed soft and juicy. Crispy outside, moist inside, textbook.

I laid a piece of tender duck and crispy skin on a warm wheat pancake (yabing), added crunchy scallion shreds and the special vegetable sauce, wrapped it up and popped it in! The more I chewed, the more the nutty duck flavor and the sweet-salty sauce burst together in my mouth. No gamey smell, no greasiness, just clean, deep flavor, and I couldn't stop gushing until the last piece.

Next I tried the unusual drinking snack, stir-fried pig ear with bean sprouts. Thinly sliced pig ear, chewy and springy, is stir-fried with crunchy bean sprouts in a sweet, spicy, smoky-wok-flavored sauce, and after one bite I thought, this is a great side for drinks!

Enjoying the carefully made Peking duck and the charming pig ear dish in a softly lit, moody room made me feel well taken care of the whole time. If you're near Seolleung Station and looking for a place for an important meeting, a group dinner or a bar with private rooms, I'd recommend it without hesitation. Quality Peking duck plus classy private rooms: Mirim Yangjang Seolleung Branch, a true Seolleung favorite!!
