A healing bakery where, amid a grand gallery vibe, I finally met a real life-changing bread again — MUG.
It's getting really hot these days, right? For our summer vacation, my family went to a place that's becoming a hot spot to visit in Eonyang, Ulsan — the bakery café MUG. Even before arriving, I was already excited thinking about good coffee and freshly baked bread.
What are the exterior and parking lot like at MUG?

The building itself felt grand yet in harmony with nature, almost like visiting a stylish gallery café in Ulsan.

It had a calming, healing feel. Near the entrance, various pumpkins were growing, and the kids and I enjoyed looking at them.

Interior atmosphere and bread lineup at 2pm on a weekday

From the entrance, MUG feels like walking into an art museum.

We visited around 2pm on a weekday during vacation season, so there were really, really many customers!!
Still, the space was so spacious and the flow so well organized that it didn't feel noisy or chaotic at all.

We grabbed a nice window seat first, then went to order bread and drinks.

First we grabbed my absolute favorite, salt bread.

Many trays were sold out, but staff kept refilling them with fresh bread quickly.

We also got cheese mochi, which was packed with so much cheese it was a real treat.

Squid-ink garlic baguette and chestnut cheesecake.

Not in the photo, but we also bought a jalapeño bacon ciabatta!!

I heard MUG, the Eonyang, Ulsan bakery café, is famous for its cinnamon rolls too.

After finishing our bread, we also bought this squid-ink sausage bread^^
What's the menu and pricing like at MUG?
At MUG, the Eonyang, Ulsan bakery café, we ordered a café latte (₩6,000), chocolate latte (₩7,000), MUG lemonade (₩7,000), salt bread (₩3,500), cheese mochi (₩5,200), and jalapeño bacon ciabatta (₩4,800).
These days many large bakery cafés charge outrageous prices, but MUG felt reasonably priced considering its scale and atmosphere. There's a microwave on one side of the café, so plain breads or ciabatta-type items could be warmed up to taste.
How were the bread and drinks?

Just look at the visuals of the drinks at MUG, the Eonyang, Ulsan bakery café~~!!

They came in such pretty glasses that I couldn't help taking photos. This is the chocolate latte and MUG lemonade. The taste was as good as the looks.

The café latte with its lovely heart art was also really satisfying, with nutty, rich beans. It paired especially well with the bread.

Wow~~ at MUG, the Eonyang, Ulsan bakery café, you really can't go wrong with any bread you choose.
It was so good it genuinely surprised me!! There are so many bakery cafés these days, but it had been a long time since I felt "wow, I'm finally eating properly delicious bread again."
Honestly, my family doesn't eat that much bread, but at MUG, the Eonyang, Ulsan bakery café, every single bread was so satisfying that we ran back to order more.

We bought one more each of the squid-ink sausage bread (₩6,800) and salt bread (₩3,500) and finished them completely!! MUG is officially a bread spot worth recommending.
Is it worth recommending for a family outing?
From the grand, stylish gallery-style exterior to the spacious parking lot, the atmospheric interior, and above all the bakery and drinks that exceeded expectations!! MUG, the Eonyang, Ulsan bakery café we visited this time, left the whole family 200% satisfied.
If you're driving toward Eonyang, Ulsan or looking for a café to relax at, I highly recommend stopping by. We'll definitely be back again ^^
