Do you always go when a friend strongly recommends a restaurant or café? This time I visited Central Site Hapjeong on the recommendation of my best friend, who swears the coffee is amazing. She takes coffee really seriously, so my expectations were high. To tell you the conclusion first:
The coffee was great, the tiramisu was great, and the interior was pretty too!

What are Central Site Hapjeong's exterior and outdoor seats like?

Central Site Hapjeong is a café where the big glass windows and clean exterior catch your eye first. I didn't know Hapjeong had such a nice café! My friend's recommendation had a reason behind it!
Outside there were wooden chairs and tables, and some people were actually enjoying their coffee out there. On a nice day, a cup of coffee outside would be lovely.
Central Site Hapjeong interior and window bar seats

The inside of Central Site Hapjeong impressed me with its mix of exposed concrete and wood-toned furniture. The distinctive lighting and huge windows lift the mood even more.
There are window bar seats too, so it looks good for visiting alone and enjoying coffee. It photographs well, so I think it would suit a Hapjeong date café as well. Just note that it doesn't have lots of seats like a big café.
A Hapjeong roastery café with the roasting equipment on view

Another space that caught my eye at Central Site Hapjeong was the big roasting equipment! The professional machines visible through the glass were impressive. The brewing area was also neatly lined with all kinds of tools and beans.
If you like coffee, I think you'll enjoy just looking around here. A place serious about coffee really is different! More than just a pretty café,
it gave me the impression of a roastery café that focuses on the coffee itself.

Peach Punch for ₩12,000: one ice cube, and it's this big?

What I ordered at Central Site Hapjeong was the Peach Punch (₩12,000), and the one huge ice cube was the first thing that stood out. The moment the coffee arrived, something caught my eye... the ice! Not lots of small cubes, but
one absolutely enormous ice cube!
I was surprised by the size at first, haha. One giant cube in a clear glass looks special right from the start.

On the first sip, it was a coffee with noticeable acidity. The distinctive acidity was appealing, and it went really well with the tiramisu. If you like acidic coffee, it's worth a look.
Brazil Vinhal WL44 hand drip for ₩9,000: an unusual name

My best friend's order at Central Site Hapjeong was the ₩9,000 hand drip: Brazil Vinhal WL44 Chocolate 2X Fermentation Washed! What a long name, right? Memorizing it would feel like studying for an exam.
She tried it and said it was really good. "It's delicious!" Seeing the friend who recommended the place so satisfied made me happy too. I had the Peach Punch, so I can't judge this coffee myself, but her reaction was definitely clear.

Being able to choose from various beans seemed especially appealing to coffee lovers.
Classic tiramisu tastes even better with the Peach Punch

The dessert we ordered with the coffee was Central Site Hapjeong's classic tiramisu (₩8,500), and its pairing with the acidic Peach Punch was especially good. The top was dusted with cocoa powder and decorated with chocolate. When I scooped it with a fork, I could see a soft cream layer. And then, one bite!

Coffee and tiramisu really do belong together. ❤️
Drinking the acidic Peach Punch and then taking a bite of sweet tiramisu, the two went together well. A sip of coffee, a bite of tiramisu. Before I knew it, the dessert was disappearing, haha.
Personally, I was more satisfied with Peach Punch together with the tiramisu than with the Peach Punch alone.
Udon at Udon Kaden across the street, then coffee at Central Site
Another tip from my best friend: across from Central Site Hapjeong there's a chef-run udon (thick wheat noodle) restaurant called Udon Kaden! And sure enough, I could see the Udon Kaden sign across the street.
She recommended a course of eating at Udon Kaden and then having coffee at Central Site. Come to think of it, isn't that a really good combination?
Meal at Udon Kaden → coffee and tiramisu at Central Site!
If you're looking for both good food and a café in Hapjeong, this might be worth keeping in mind.
Central Site Hapjeong: honest verdict

I visited Central Site Hapjeong on a friend's recommendation, and after going myself I can see why she recommended it. The Peach Punch I had impressed me with its acidity, and the look of that one huge ice cube stayed with me. My best friend was happy with the hand-drip coffee. Above all, the coffee and tiramisu combination was really good.
The stylish interior and outdoor seats added to the mood I liked. Just note that specialty coffee is pricier than regular franchise coffee. If you enjoy the taste and character of coffee, do visit^^
The coffee names are hard to memorize, but the delicious memories last!
If you're looking for a roastery café with a great atmosphere in Hapjeong, give Central Site Hapjeong a visit.
